“Good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

Great location, a fair price to what you get. The room itself is comfortable.

The only thing that bothered me is the Wi-Fi was only in reception.

Staff was nice but could not help us in many things, they spoke English but did not understand us most of the time

Room Tip: If you take a room on the first floor at the beginning of the corridor, you will have in the room Wi...

We have stayed here twice May 2011 (600b) and March 2012.(800b). The rooms are very big for the price you pay and have air con and a fridge. They are clean and spacious and if they were located elsewhere would be fantastic.
They are only a short walk from the beach and all of the nightlife - which in my opinion is the only downfall.
The rooms are located opposite a ladyboy caberet bar and just back from the main strip. It is sooo noisy to the point where I lost sleep and it made me miserable. I was travelling with my son but I imagine if you were a young person on a holiday and enjoyed partying you wouldnt care about the noise. If you do like a quiet room though dont book to stay here.

Delighted with this find! Planned on staying 2 nights but stayed for 5 instead. Its in the centre of Chewang main street (with shops and restaurants). Just down a short alley, you'll see the Moulin Rouge cabaret sign and you'll know your there.
The beach is 2mins walk from the street.
Hotel does good laundry for pretty cheap. Staff are pleasant.
Room cleaning everyday if you wish, fresh towels and free bottles of water. Worth pointing out that the bed sheets and towels were immaculate, all matching with logos.
Bathroom is larger than average for anywhere in Thailand I've been. Separate shower cubical with hot water. If you're a backpacker you'll know the luxury in this!
We stayed in room 206 and experienced no noise from the cabaret at all.
Fridge, air con, toiletries, free bottled water, tv, large cupboard and desk.
The price was right, location bang in the centre, room spacious and spotlessly clean, we loved it.

Room Tip: get a room on the right side away from the alley, theres no noise on this side at all. And ask to vi...

Big, clean rooms with a fridge, hot water and TV, friendly staff, rooms cleaned and a couple of bottles of free water put in your fridge every day. We thought the value was excellent, it might be a bit noisy at night but you're in the centre of Chaweng! Just a walk across the road to the beach, no complaints at all!

We stayed here for one night while transitting through to Phuket. With no accomodation booked, we found this place by visiting a travel agent two minutes down the road. The rooms were very cheap. The location is great and only a skip to the main road and markets. The rooms were tolerable. They were clean at a glance. The beds were nothing to write home about - hard and uncomfortable. The bathroom/shower left little to be desired. All in all the room had air con and are secure. We also had a room on the side of the hotel opposite the caberet club. The music started at 2pm (rehersals) and went on until the early hours of the morning. I definately would not stay here again but if you are looking for a cheap bed in a good location and those are your only pre requisites, then this is your place.

Room Tip: dont get a room on the side of the caberet club

I stayed here for one night in in transit from Koh Samui to Koh Phangan. First impressions were that it was clean and reasonable for the rate. As the night progressed I picked up on a few negatives. Firstly the air conditioning was SO loud I had to turn it off but would wake up boiling hot and have to put it back on and bear with the noise. Secondly my room was right next to the Moulin Rouge Cabaret Club which meant there was really loud music until 4 am. But the real cherry on top was later on the day I had departed I'd realised I'd been bitten by bed bugs from my one night's stay. Would I stay here again? No way.

Room Tip: Try to get a room thats not on the side with the cabaret club since it's very noisy
