“Reasonable Price and Friendly Staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013

The price is quite reasonable comparing to the room and their service in the hotel. My room has been upgraded to be 'family room' which is very comfortable and nice, the only two things are about its smoke smell and the air-conditioner which took time to start. I really love the swimming pool here, but would be best to be closed at 10pm. Even its location is not that near the entertainment are, but its very easier to find from the pier. Overall is good and also the staff are nice, friendly and helpful when I need transportation service.

Room Tip: Sea View Family Room is closed to swimming pool

We stayed there for 5 days at the end of travel in Thailand.
The rooms are clean and well equipped.
We were accompanied by our children who were housed in an adjoining room equipped with a WII!
The pool is nice but the surrounding area look dirty. This is because there is sand in some places.
The breakfast was not great. The dining room dirty.
The food in the hotel is good but quite expensive compared to what is found around the hotel.
Accor card does not work when reservation and payment is made via travel agency. I had hoped for a compensation in points for staying one day less than expected (and paid for that lost night).
The staff is professional, that's all.
I will not return despite the few positive points.

The room is small and basic. The 3 pools are good, esp for youngish kids (1.2m? depth). There are a few OK eateries outside the hotel and pharmacy and minimart. Located right on the beach. I thought 90 baht(?) for a small beer poolside was a rip-off and my biggest complaint (especially when you can buy them for 1/3rd of that just outside the hotel).

We stayed 1 night at the hotel, we had a connection flight from bangkok and arrived late.
The hotel was really ok- clean, nice staff members , great pool and private beach, great break fast.
Though i felt it was a bit deserted( no places to hang out at night nearby)
The hotel was ok and really nice for a one night pitstop before going to ko tao / koh pangan

We stayed in August 2013 and found the hotel as you would expect with an Ibis hotel, Very clean, comfortable and great staff. Room is small but adequate with A/C and safe, on the beach and a really good bar which serves great Thai food. People who have moaned about the staff must be the sort of people who expect instant service and complain if they don't get it. If thats how you react DON'T go to Thailand , the Thai's are the nicest, friendliest race i have ever met but like everybody, they like to be treated in a friendly way in return. If you do that you will have friends for life and brilliant service. Try the Ibis hotel in Bophut, it's close to the Fisherman's village where all the bars and restaurants are and you will have a great time with great people without spending a fortune.

The pools are nice, and are good for the kids, come early to find shade though. the beach next is OK although Lamai is better.
It's close enough to walk to Fishermen’s village where you can find a lot of eating options and to the main road, where you can find other and minimarket.
Breakfast is nice.
The rooms are tight, not space for luggage. the rooms are clean if you remind the staff to do it. the towels are smelly.
Taxis in the island are not cheap, and there are no tuktuks.
1+1 drinks between 5-7PM.
As Koh Samui became expensive, this is a good budget option for a family.
