We stay there over 2 weeks and it was nearly the place i like to name it "The last paradise on earth".
The hole Staff is very lovely, helpfull and interessted in your wishes.
Fritz and Rose (the owner)are always taking care of you and if you want to move around, Mohammed the tourguide will organise different activities.
The Lodge is always clean und the the donkeys that there life make complete the feeling of a familie athmospher .
In the evening the Cock Richie makes a fantastic job and absolutely great different fish menu´s.

It was a wonderfull time and we desided to come back again.

We stayed 10 days in Hakuna Matata Beach Lodge and enjoyed every single minute. Location is beautiful, food excellent, bungalows are arranged in african style with an amazing view over the sea. The complete staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the true hospitality, kindness and the individual service very much. We surely come back very soon.

We enjoyed our second stay at this paradise very, very much. The hospitality of Rose and Fritz was very special, the kitchen offered highest quality and different styles of dinner. The desserts were every evening delicious and a big surprise. Our House was serengeti 1 and we slept like babies very night. The view from all over the lodge is amazing and I will never forget the sunrises with the dolphins in front of the restaurant.
Who likes hospitality, very professional staff and kitchen, who likes cold white wine of top quality, nice food on a top level and international guests should stay at Hakuna matata. We will come again. For shure!!!

Having lived in Kenya for some years we are quite aware of price quality standards in the region. At the prices Hakuna Matata was asking we were expecting something nice($210 per night B&B). Unfortunately the room we got was very distastefully furnished (unless Germans like this kind of style) and the bedroom and bathroom were very small. For the owners to say that they most probably serve the best food on the island is a laughable exaggaration eventhough the tunasteak we had was more than excellent. No I would recommend going next door to the relaxed and laid back mangrove logde, that is simple not pretentious and serves fresh seafood on the beach if you ask them to (though when we were there the big italian resort next door was closed so we had the beach to ourselves)
