Carmel couldn't have been more welcoming. Breakfast was hale and hearty served in a bright breakfast room.

This was the first stay in a 12 days trip to Ireland with 11 different locations overnight. After the entire trip we realized that this was the best place we stayed in. The room was large, with two bathrooms, with large windows and with heating in the bed which was really nice because we had some bad weather while in that area. The living room feels like home, so cozy and nice and with a working wood fire place. Tea was available any time in the living and the door to the breakfast room was open so we could snatch some biscuits from there for the tea. The breakfast was rich with everything you want. And the fruit salad was really good. It was one of the most expensive places we stayed in (you should keep in mind it was a budget trip), but the place really worth the money you pay.

Carmel offers spacious, clean rooms and a wide array of delicious breakfast items. The eggs and smoked salmon are outstanding. The B&B is convenient to Glendalough and Carmel makes sure that you feel welcome. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Upon arriving, Carmel greated me with a very warm welcome. She is such a lovely person. The room was be autiful and so spacious. The bed was large and very comfortable, and the breakfast was second to none. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. And being a stickler for cleanliness, I was not disappointed, The place was spotless. I would suggest strongly staying if you happen to be in the area.

What a neat lady Carmel is, we really enjoyed her company and our stay. Lovely big bedroom with large comfortable bed, and my husband and I had a toilet each.. Everything was nice and clean.
Wifi in our room. Although there was no tea making facilities or TV in our room the lounge was just along the hallway. Lots of nice biscuits in lounge to go with our cup of tea and coffee. Lots of different teas available. Lovely breakfast, really enjoyed the fresh salmon.
The B&B was one story, so no stairs to climb.

The house is very well located: a few kilometers away from Glendalough and other local tourist attractions. The rooms are big and very clean. The service is excellent, as is the breakfast. The house in itself is not very beautiful though. But very nice home to stay for a couple of nights in this very nice area only 60 km away from Dublin.

Hi,
We are a couple from Israel who stayed at this B&B this September (2010).
And although we didn't make an early reservation and got there in the evening we got nice and warm welcome.
The room was very nice, clean and convenient. This B&B have a nice guests room.
The breakfast was great.
The best thing in this place is the service we got there by the owners.
