“Great value tasty Indian food sitting by the sea”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2014

Have eaten on this beach front many times but never been here before until June 2014. Went with 4 adults and 2 children.
Nice setting and very good service.
All adults had the set menu - approx 4 courses for about 13 euros:
Poppadoms and chutneys - then a choice of a starter (I had a lovely chicken tikka) a curry from a selection of about 6 (I had chicken rogan josh which was tasty). Choice of rice or nann and ice cream for pudding.
All tasty food, well presented and served at a good pace
7 year old had a nibble of poppadoms and the chicken tikka from the kids menu which he enjoyed. 4 year old had sausage and chips which was fairly standard.

All in all very nice indian food in a lovely setting with the set menu a very good deal.

“Best Indian restaurant in Tenerife”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2014

I love this restaurant, the location is fabulous, right on the sea front, perfect to watch the sunset. There is a children's playground to its right so it's great for children and you can keep an eye on them. The food is always great and the set menus offer great value, a five course for €12.75.......
The staff are lovely. I honestly can't fault it and would highly recommend it...

“Fantastic Food and Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2014

Don't be put off by the outside of the restaurant - the inside, food and service is fantastic.

I went with my wife and another couple to find a decent curry - and we weren't disappointed. They are very welcoming, made a dish for my wife that wasn't available on the menu, and made sure that our visit was very enjoyable.

All in all I would say that this is one the best Indian meals that I have had for years.

Would definitely recommend the Ganges.

“Best Indian I ever had”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2014

Visited this restaurant three times during our two-week stay at Fanabe.
Don't let the seaside location fool you to think about cheap-fast-food.
The food is tasty to your every need and we especially loved the Cocos-
Naan-Bread.
The personnel (especially the shorter waiter) is professional to give you advice
what to order and how to order. We were about to order without sauce and
he taught us about the sauces and spices and all.
You eat here for 40 euros for two. Really would recommend the tikka masala
lamb and potato-curry.
