“Very beautiful temples”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2012

We visited the temples at sunset, at 17.00. They coloured beautifully in the setting sun. Amazing masterpieces that were cut out of gigantic rocks.

“Earliest examples of enormous rock carvings”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2012

These are 5 free standing monolithic temples, so beautiful and intricate to be carved from single giant rocks. What artistry to even imagine this figures and spaces carved this way. There are also several large free standing animals carved by rocks. It is an amazing site, controlled entry (foreigners pay $5.00US) but you can walk inside the temples. Steady destruction as a result so go early before they are gone.
