“DIVINE TRIP TO Shreenathjee”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2014

We visited from Mumbai on 30th & 31st December. The new rooms are vey clean & cozy. The hotel is esss than 5 minutes walk from the main temple & hence darshan the very motive of the trip is easily acheived. The restaurant offers good thali. Room service prompt & good options. Entire town is vegeterian ONLY.

Vallabh darshan has a wide range of price options to suit different budget categories.. we had chosen the 1150 and 1650 priced rooms.. the room size obviously will differ, but what struck me were the quality of blankets.. 1650 had better blankets (with a cover)! :P

The hotel is neatly tucked behind the main street which leads to the temple.. hence, making it convenient and walkable from the temple..

The tea was very good in the hotel.. must try!!

dont be scared by the lift.. its hilarious experience!! ignore the pigeons nearby as well :P !!

jai shri krishna :)

The Hotel is right next to the fabled Srinathji temple at Nathdwara. The hotel offers check out times and comfortable rooms which are furnished well although I did feel that the bathrooms had too many insects. The new wing has modern rooms with air conditioning, television etc. The food is alright but seems to be prepared keeping in mind the principles of food safety. One could opt for this hotel mainly due to the paucity of other options and the convenience of location!

Room Tip: Specifically request the new rooms

Its a pilgrimage place, so not to expect luxury from the hotel. The rooms are nice & neat & clean. Though the bathrooms are not that good. But overall nice. THe best part is the location. It is very close to the temple.

We stayed at Hotel Valabh Darshan in August 2013. Selected Royal Suit in new wing. Must admit it was perfect choice.
Most Important, Hotel is near to the main temple of Shrinathji, & you can reach temple through main entrance or via shortcut from Pritam Pol or from Moti Mahal. Room allotted to us was spacious with king double bed & one sofa cum bed. Mattress on the bed was comfortable & covered with clean, spotless white bed sheet. Pillows & other bed & bath linens were also white & clean. Room had large wardrobe with small safe & large mirror for dressing. Bathroom was huge with 24 hours hot & cold water, & few toiletries. 2 ton Split Air conditioner was right for the room size. Surprisingly they provided hot & cold mineral water dispenser machine in the room, this is most required thing in Nathdwara. All in all, room was comfortable, clean & provided much needed rest after hectic visit to the temple for 6 different darshans in a day. Service is good & staff is co operative & prompt, but always eager to get some tip.
For Dining, Restaurant at basement of the hotel serves good thali in Lunch & in dinner one can choose Punjabi, south Indian, Gujarati mini meals. We had rotla, khichadi & sev tomato subji & all three were testy & must try if you are in Nathdwara. I have written separately on other dining options at nathdwara & other facilities available for Nathdwara. Special mention to Mr. Lokesh at the reception counter, for his smiling service & co operation. Few drawbacks are , area around the hotel is not clean & it is narrow lane with dirt. No view from the room, but yes terrace of the hotel provides spectacular view of Nathdwara town & shrinathji temple.

Room Tip: Prefer Rooms New wing .

I have stayed there with my family for 2 days. The best part of hotel is close proximity to the temple and prompt room service, otherwise in terms of cleanliness and hygiene, it is below expectation.

Food is OK, though there are umpteen options available in Nathdwara for foodies.

Room Tip: Stay at 3rd or 4th floor
