“Nice hotel with unique architecture”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2013

We were in a group tour organised by our company for the employees so we visit to a large no of hotels in Rajasthatn as i am working in a travel agency so we were also also looking for best hotels with good services in Rajasthan, We had our lunch in Heritage Mandawa and before that we had a visit to the Heritage Mandawa property ( Rooms, Hall and restaurant etc. ) and i was very fascinated by the hotel rooms and every room is different from others. Every rooms gives a different experience and one can feel the heritage touch of India in theses rooms. Staff was also very friendly and cooperative. The paintings and designs on the walls of rooms were wonderful. I really like this hotel.

We stayed one night (top floor rooms) at this hotel. The room are beautifully decorated and clean..however bathroom let it down.. Very average cleanness, not to say dirty, the plumbing was malfunctioning with a loose tap and no hot water. The breakfast was very poor with not much choice. And the cleanness for dinner was also poor, despite of a large range provided. Despite paying Internet ..this was absolutely not working and we have to negotiate a refund. If I have to stay again in Mandawa I will stay to another place.

A simply beautiful hotel. Restored haveli complete with paintings etc. Really lovely.

We didnt make that much use of the hotel as arrived late one evening and then left after looking around Mandawa the next morning, but what we saw was good.

Breakfast was nice enough, room was a good size, AC worked reasonably well. Bathroom was large and nice. Very clean.

Location is good, right in centre of Mandawa (not a big place). Easy to walk around town and see all the Havelis.

Staff were friendly, chatty and showed off their 'honeymoon suite' which is covered in mirrors and bright colours, like in the Rajasthani palaces.

Travelled June 2013 as a couple, AC room, booked as part of a tour of Rajasthan.

I only had one night but it was a very memorable stay. The hotel decoration is amazing..Especially the downstairs room with its upstairs extra bed ! and its walls covered in mirror mosaic . I had a short tour of the local Havelis by the hotel staff which was really interesting I got to see the inside of one. My room was very spacious and clean, service was good. Breakfast was the usual offering - omlette toast banana and tea/coffee

the Heritage Mandawa really is a jewel. it's full of wonderful paintings and mosaics, the rooms we've seen are all wonderfully decorated and create a great ambiance - one of the best we had in one month india.

downsides: internet costs extra (100 rupies), so did breakfast - which was rather expensive for what we got. it's balanced out by otherwise fair room prices.

Room Tip: ask to see different rooms - if only to enjoy the great decoration and paintings in them!

We arrived in morning, the manager Ravi was quite helpful and smiling; infact upgraded us to a suite Room number-11, the room had LCD, pillar bed etc.
The room had an old haveli charm (high ceiling, wall hanging lamps). The hotel is quite nicely painted (though recent) and we and our four year old had lovely picture clicking session.
Though we had dinner at another place, I feel having dinner outside on 1st floor among the fresco paintings is going to be quite a charm, though don’t expect exceptional meals. They also have a traditional Rajasthani puppet show in the evening. Only negative is walking to the hotel via the bus stand which at times is crowded and a bit of mosquitoe menace but guess they are everywhere around this time :).

Overall a good place to stay for a night at a budgeted price as location is great, walking distance to the fort and various havelis.

This was our first night in India and we did not discuss about the room after the flight and an 7 hrs drive from Delhi. The room for 3 was okay. No warm water for showering. It was okay to arrive late and keep on going in the morning. The food on the terrace was wonderful, the breakfast was not good. It is a beautiful building with nice drawings.
