“Divine place keeping pace with latest trends in tourist cities”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2014

The city has been totally transformed since my last visit 20 years ago.Always available good accomodation, small township, simple people, away from hustle-bustle of metro life.

Best thing I liked was the Light & sound show, open air in the evening, connecting younger generation with glorious past.

“Very peaceful and divine”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2013 via mobile

This is the samadhi of ninth guru of Sikhs shri Guru Gobind Singhji. The gurudwara is spic and span and maintained superbly. The moment you step in you feel mesmerised by the holy chants and whiteness. Certainly a place to visit even for non-sikhs. The langar ka prasad is also good. You can even help out in the kitchen.

“Sachkhànd Sri Hazur Sahib , Nanded”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2013

Guru Amar Dass Ji strengthened the tradition of GURU KA LANGAR and made it compulsory for the visitor to the Guru saying that ' PEHLE PANGAT PHIR SANGAT'. One emperor Akbar came to see Guru sahib and had to eat the coarse rice in the Langar before he could have an interview with Guru Sahib.
Sangat is the gathering where everyone, shedding away his ego, superiority or inferiority sits equal with others on the same platform ,surrender before God and serve humanity.
PANGAT is an institution of LANGAR or a free kitchen, where the rich and the poor, high or low, cutting all barriers of religion, caste, language, social status, regional boundaries, etc. have meals at the same place. Everyone gets the same food and the same service without any discrimination.

“"Realm of Truth" & a place for complete oneness..”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

Hazoor Sahib, more called as Takht Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchalnagar Sahib,is one of the five takhts ("thrones", seats of temporal authority) in Sikhism. It is located on the banks of the River Godavari at the city of Nanded in the state of Maharashtra, Western India. It is where the 10th guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji completed his last breath. The gurudwara within the complex is known Sach-Khand "Realm of Truth".

A must visit for any traveler who wants a pure mind and body...a few moments at the inner shrine gives you the feeling of intimate and profound oneness relationship with god...it is simply mesmerizing.

The early morning 4 a.m darshan is splendid....but if you cant make it, then any time is good. The evening aarti at 7 ...when it looks the best when illuminated.

The lazer show in the evening post 7:30 is way too good...and don't miss it for anything in this world...par excellent with the world standards..its a true son et lumiere...

And guys don't miss the icing on the cake...the langar...

Have fun with all the tiny eateries serving hot hot yummy parathas with loads of butter and pickles round the corner...yummm. Non veg is avoidable...unless you can digest heavy foods..with oil floating all the way...
