“Excellent location, superb view, prompt service, decent rooms”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2014

I visited this hotel in or 4 friends for one night. It is right in Murud village, about 5 km from the fort on a small hillock. The height ensures a fantastic view, the rooms are large and decently furnished. The service was prompt, the food was basic but tasty. Also, their swimming pool is large and enjoyable.

Overall its a great place which offers solid value for money. Not luxury, but a comfortable and relaxing experience.

Room Tip: I recommend atleast 70% sea view room...

I went there in August with my wife. I got a room with 10% sea view. If you are looking for sea view hotels, there are better options available. You can not reach without car here. Some rooms and swimming pool has a good view. Good thing about this property is the breeze as it is on a small hill. Sea is a bit far. Staff is courteous and helpful. Rooms are clean and but very basic. A bit pricey when compared on the basis of location and services. I would have opted for package with out food but it was not offered. I came to know about it afterwards.

Room Tip: Take a sea view room. Bring your own linen for comfortable stay.

The place is just okay. But the view is great. All plus points are only because of the location of the property. The service was good (or as good as we expected in Murud). The rooms were comfortable, but if you are aiming for anything more than basic amenities, this is not the place for you. It was very close to Murud beach, and that makes it worth it.

We planned to stay somewhere in Kashid but were not able to secure any rooms in the Prakruti resort so we drove around. Tried our luck at the Golden Swan and were then left to experiment the unheard of hotels. We noticed their roadsign and took the turn. The rooms were strictly okay but otherwise the facilities were pretty good. They had arranged for tea and snacks for us besides the pool. We had dinner and breakfast at the place and it was alright, nothing great but in a town like Murud, you shouldn't expect much better.

Its a light stroll away from the clean and lovely Murud beach.

Booked this hotel mainly for the view as senior citizens would not be holed up while the family was at the beach. However, besides a very warm welcome from Mr Philip at the time of arrival everything else was way below expectations. Considering that this is one of the premium places to stay at Murud, it indicates the lack of understanding of hospitality business.
Positive: Very nice terrace, prompt room service, clean sheets and bathrooms
Negative:The AC has no grill on the top and very very very noisy, open wires where there should be lamps, no tables or shelves in the room to keep luggage, not even a purse. Sliding windows to the terrace impossible to open without help from at least 2 people.
If you have chosen not to take the bundled meal plus room option, GOD only save you. You have to set your own table, no water served, no glasses at the table, breakfast served late but you cant start anyways as there are no forks, knives. Old tables are not cleared for over an hour leaving flies pestering you. table cloths lie at the side of the dining area like a dhobi's bundle. If you are of chalta hai attitude, you can ignore it, not otherwise.

Guys visit this place for its amazing beauty and the surroundings...Resort is located up the hill and u will find the best view of the sea and the sunset. Spacious property..Great Service..Avg food..Amazing views from the rooms. However slight construction and interior must be done to rebring its original beauty... Overall its Perfect place to stay...but u need to shell out more....

Stayed there for a night & glad it was only 1 night. While the resort looks fine from outside, the moment you step inside the room, you realise, how shabbily this place is maintained. Paint is coming off the walls, bathroom is smelly & looks like was last renovated in 90s, blankets are not comfortable. Food was strictly ok. To top it all, there was no hot water provision in the morning. Had to wait for 1 hour for a bucket of hot water arranged from another room. This was after we had taken the best room. The only positive is the view from the room.
