My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in Sept. 2008. Our bedroom was the Violette room which faces the town's main street on Rte. 169. The traffic was very busy with transport trucks, farm tractors, and cars passing through all night. Not only was there vehicular noise, the house and our bed literally shook with every transport truck tha passed by. We were unable to sleep a wink. There was no mention of this on the B&B's website. The front and back rooms of the house were charged the same rate. Unfortunately, we were unable to try and back rooms of the house to see if they were better as the occupants were there two nights as well.
During the 2-night stay, there was no room clean-up, change of sheets or towels, replenishment of soap/toilet paper, etc.. I don't think anyone entered the room while we were out.
Upon our arrival, we had to complete a form with our personal info so that according to the owners, if we stole anything from the house, he could chase us down. In all my years in staying at B&Bs, we never had to fill out a form.
Positives: free wireless internet access, offered free coffee/tea, air conditioning (weather was hot and humid).
