I'll start by saying this place is popular with the villagers around the area, and with people prepared to travel to it. On a weekend, lunchtime or evening, you will have to wait for a table, and then you will have to wait for your food. Popular places in demand are like that, so be prepared to wait.
if you take on board the above points you won't be disappointed. A very varied menu (fish is a speciality) and always a very different "specials board". my two friends and I opted for the Smoked haddock risotto, the luxury fish pie, and the obligatory fish n chips (well it was Friday :-))). Did we enjoy it, well the plates were either clean to the porcelain, or what was left was because the portions were so generous.
Well worth it, but remember I did say you might be in for a double wait it's so popular.
