I have just spent one night here with my wife and two children and had a great stay. The staff were very friendly, the room was spacious and very well equipped! We had a lovely breakfast and the leisure club was a nice place for us to relax and the kids to play before we had to leave.
One big gripe though: we didn,t have dinner at the hotel because we thought the prices were too expensive,both in the bar and restaurant. We did however find a good family pub 5 mins drive away which served good,very reasonably priced meals with a 'wacky warehouse' play area for the children and an outside playground,on the A5480.
Overall a nice hotel, very easy to find just off the motorway, but be prepared if you want to wine and dine there!

I used to stay at the Suites Hotel when I travelled to Merseyside on business. Not any more, and I would not recommend this place to anyone - it’s really let down by the terrible attitude of its staff.

I booked two nights. On the first night I arrived in my room to find a broken TV remote. I called reception to ask them to replace it, and was told that the Duty manager was dealing with a conference but would sort it out in 5 minutes. OK, this is a minor matter, but you’d think that it was easy to sort out. Not at the Suites – no-one turned up at all to fix it the whole time I was there.

I later ordered room service – I got horrible lukewarm stew, dry lumpy mashed potatoes, and a salad with no dressing.

The next day, the second day of my appointment had to be cancelled – I phoned the hotel at 1pm to cancel the booking for the second night, but was told I should have done it by 10am, and I’d have to pay the full price for a room I wasn’t going to use. I told them that I’d be back for several nights in a month, so you would think they’d do the math and work out that if they were flexible then they’d make more money out of me. But no – no negotiation, just a blank stare and a ‘Reservations manager’ reciting the hotel’s ‘policy’ a number of times.

Their attitude stinks: they clearly have no respect for their guests. Avoid this place unless you like being treated like dirt.

This is a conference style hotel with a positively horrid attitude to clients ranging from indifference to "sit down and pay attention". The staff appeared to have no supervision, little knowledge and all wanting to be anywhere but at the hotel

The rooms,whilst big, lack true amenities for conference attendance and don't translate to cosy overnight or a romantic stay

You can do a lot better in Liverpool

I have just spent two nights with my wife and two young children aged 10 and 8 years for a short holiday break.
From our first arriving to leaving the staff were very helpful and always polite and acknowledged you as you went around the hotel.
The leisure clubs facilities were excellent, the breakfast spot on. We had the set menu in the restaurant on the first night and the food was first class, we even asked for a slight variation on the childrens menu and they did this without any reservation. We enjoyed this meal so much that we had a meal from the restaurant the following night.
The room was great for families as it was two rooms each with a television and was very clean, it even had all the skysports channels which my son and I loved.
Overall this hotel was excellent for our needs and we would reccomend it to anyone, be prepared because you won't get a room with a view as it is located on the edge of an industrial estate but so what.
