This is my third review of this hotel & will fortunately by my last, I recently got the good news I'd no longer need to travel to Bokaro.
My reviews have not been flattering & my rating has been reduced each time, as I despair with this place.
I will keep this review short, as I feel I've said most of what needs to be said previously.
My biggest problem, personally is the lack of privacy & quiet, due to the amazing lack of sound proofing this hotel has. Bokaro, like much of India is a noisy place & I usually look forward to shutting out the din when I go to my room - no chance here though, you can even hear you neighbours on the phone & I therefore assume they can hear me. Parties & temple affairs are very regular & they like everything loud, very load, they completely ignore the noise regulations & sneer at you if you dare to complain. The furniture lacks any kind of padding & no one every lifts anything, they only drag across hard floors. Staff also seem to live on site & it's from them that much of the noise that disturbed many a nights sleep seems to emanate - in many places the customer is king, here we seem to be an inconvenience.
A/C deserves a mention, it's central air & does very little to actually reduce the rooms temperature, it's very noisy & regularly seems to recirculate the smoke from nearby rooms - for a non smoker this is particularly unpleasant - they do not appear to have any no smoking rooms, when much of the world no longer have any smoking rooms.
