Being a place designed for western tastes, this restaurant justifies its name apart from the "hanuman"!
the ambience is amazing - good quality furniture, smart (pleasant to the eyes!) lighting and the authentic european interiors(down to the cutlery!)
they even have a book shelf and WiFi for those who like to lounge!
another great thing is the instrumental music (western of course!) they play! - and it's a good collection. never heard them repeat same stuff in our many visits..
food is good quality-they source authentic ingredients from bangalore, chef is good &innovative. We've enjoyed the salads, pastas and drinks on many occasions (their non alcoholic drinks menu makes u feel spoilt for choice!) as we stay in Puttaparthi.
sadly, as indians we miss the usual niceties - like the food is entirely continental (apart from the American breakfast) though they've started 2 indian items everyday since a month, they serve only from a daily menu which is like a 20% abridged version of the original (coz its difficult times after Baba departed) service is a drag(it takes them 10 mins to take the order and another 20 to serve!), its exorbitant(higher than comparable places in bangalore) and the serving sizes are designed for 1 person!
But overall it's still The best place to go for foreigners in this village city and definitely worth checking out for even indian tourists, especially for the quality of ambience and food..
