“Afternoon Safari”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

Very few animals sighted at this time of the day in March. The Jeep ride is enjoyable. One must check out which part of the National Park to visit. There are six gates for entry for different safari trips and feed back from those who have just visited the park can provide valuable inputs for sighting wild animals.

Sighting Tigers is just plain luck as they are usually deep in the jungle. An over night stay within the Park coupled with an early morning Safari can yeild better results.

“Nothing in Jungle Safari”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2014

If you're nature lover, and been to other centuries such as Ranthambhor, Munnar, Sundarban etc you'll simply feel cheated while in Jim Corbett
There is nothing to explore in jungle, just waste of money and time. Not suggested.
If you seriously love nature, go to Ranikhet, Almora or some upper part of Uttarakhand...

“A Date with Nature !!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2014

i had great expectations going into this place . the ocassion was special too. well if i tell u that we spent our first marriage anniversary in a wild life safari,u might think of us as weird.yes but we did that ,n let me tell you the romantic feel u get in forest is addictive n irresistible !!! it was good fun actually, specially because i m a dire nature lover.watching the animals in their natural habitat is really exciting.but we missed the tigers,i guess it is a rare occurance though.but one group just returning from safari had the great fortune of watching a pair of tigers.n we were really excited that we might get lucky as well, but alash !!! we went for the dhikala safari that is the innermost one.all types of safari must be worth i guess, they have canter safari, jeep safari, elephant safari. you can get all the options in corbett national park official website.

“Interesting Jungle safari”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2014

It is lovely jungle safari & the jungle itself is very well maintained and not spoiled. I recommend go to canter safari as we were able to see tiger during our visit usually it is said that Dhikala is the dense forest and so would be recommended so we took the safari through dhikala. When you are planning to go through Jeep or Canter then you are always confused so go with what you feel comfortable.

Important is that you buy the permit online by yourself so that you can bargain later on for the gypsy, if you are travelling by the same. If you are going by canter then definitely you need to buy permit in advance.

Also in case you are having you own car as we had, the best is to take your car till Dhikala gate as the road from Ramnagar to Dhikala is not very good and so the ride is not very comfortable in Canter.
