We took bus number 20 out to the Abakh Hoja tomb. It picks up on Renmin Xi Lu and the tomb is the last stop.
The tomb itself is beautiful. Although it is most well known for being the resting place of "Xiang Fei," one of the favorite concubines of emperor Qian Long in the Qing dynasty, the tomb actually houses quite a few notable local figures and there is a large traditional muslim cemetary right next door, which seems to still be in use today.
The rest of the compound contains a Mosque and a sermon hall, which are still under repair. Outside the tomb are several tourist trap type attractions which must be paid for separately.
Overall, the tomb is good for a quick trip that can be done without using up a whole day of your time in Kashgar. The large bazaar is on the same bus route, as is part of Kashgar Old City. We went to the bazaar on the way back from the tomb and were able to do both with plenty of time at the end of the day to spare.
