“amazing place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2014

Of the 10 days I spent in China this was the highlight. I followed the advice of one reviewer on these pages and went on my own and stayed in the nearby village. It was easy to get a hotel room and to move around on public transport. a must if you are passing by on the high speed train.

“An excellent place to go in Zhejiang”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2013

The park is situated between the cities of Wenzhou and Taizhou. You can take train or taxi to there by either of these two cities within an hour. The park consists of several scenes that you shall pay different entrance fees, more details of park are available in their official web-site: http://yw.wzyds.com. Although the park is not so famous in PRC, it is really worthy going because of its beauties.

“One of best kept secret in China”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2013

this mountain is not super world famous, but it has stunning scenic. It has 6 to 8 different spots for you to go up and down the mountains, but I would say only 2 or 3 of them are spectacular. They are known as "Lin Fong" - the most beautiful spot in my opinion. "Da rong qiou", a very special place with a string of water running down from higher up like a spring. Finally, a place you take the elevator to go a few hundred feet up, and walk across a bridge that dingles in mid-air, not for the people that are afraid of heights thought so be warned...

“spectacular and...not so crowded”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2013

If you decide to go there after the holiday season, the best way is to hire a local driver, although it may not be cheap if you do not travel in a bigger group. There is also an option to go together with the Chinese travel agency but you must be prepared for a very "quick tour" with stops only in the places where the tour guide allows you to stop. We hired a driver and he took us there from Wenzhou city centre and stayed with us for the whole day for 700 RMB (expensive, but cheaper than the travel agency). Two places deffinitely worth visitin are: the area of the "DaLong Waterfall" and the area of the hanging bridge. It is good to show the picture of what you want to see to the driver and he will take you to the most comfortable entrance. If you decide to start with the bridge there are two options - either to walk up or to take a cable car. I do not recomend taking a cable car as it costs 30 RMB for a very short ride and the car is shaking, the windows are not very clean so it is hard to admire the views. If you go up, you can walk among the tea trees and small bamboo forest. Just a few people chose this path. The bridge itself brings some interesting impressions - it shakes a little and the view down is amazing. In general, there is not much of hard trekking but the mountains are really spectacular and the air is so fresh. The entrance fee for a single path is 30 RMB. The driving distance between the area of the "hanging bridge" and "the waterfall" is around 10 minutes and unfortunately you cannot walk the mountain path from one place to another. You need to enter the park twice and pay two entrance fees. There are few local restaurants down (on the way when you drive, not in the close area of the paths). If you want to see both places, it will take one full day from the early morning. Take lots of water and some food as everything is so expensive there.
