“Best service, faultless, perfect”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2014

service, service, service

the staff here go out of there way to make you feel special. everything is prestine. this setting is simply perfect. food is world-class quality.

Beachfront Villas are a must, with views onto the lagoon.

the resort is very quiet with the average age 40-50s.

the golf is a bonus as they have some of the best playing fields in the world at Anahita

Stayed here in May 2013 in one of the bigger villas. Service was absolutely great. We made great use of the 18 hole golf course (includes golf cart with build-in GPS and scorecard) but also of the Spa and the beach. Great choice of restaurants as well.

We simply had a blast for six days, you will too.

We travelled to Mauritius for 10 days in the middle of September 2013 for our honeymoon. We were absolutely exhausted when we arrived and unfortunately our room wasn't ready, so we had to rest on a sun lounger by the pool next to the gym; and we had to pay for breakfast as it wasn't covered in our previous payments, but apart from the minor glitch on our arrival the rest of our honeymoon was perfection. The room was absolutely amazing, luxurious, spacious and the room was worth the wait as we had a private villa right next to the beach, on the water's edge. The food was beyond belief; like eating at a Michelin star restaurant every morning and night! The service was impeccable, there is nothing the staff wouldn't do for you and by the end of the first day all of the staff seemed to know your name. It soon got me used to my new married Mrs title! It is very pricey, including drinks, but I think anyone not expecting an expensive holiday and booking the four seasons is a fool. You totally get what you pay for! There was a wide range of people staying at the resort, mainly honeymooners and couples but some families. I can only dream about going back to this resort and can't wait to book another luxurious four seasons holiday! Thank you Four Seasons Mauritius for making our honeymoon perfect.

Went for ten days. Average age was around 40-50. Was fun. Lots to do. Didn't leave the resort. Food was good too. Drinks were expensive though. And wifi was expensive we spent £200 on wifi. Wouldn't go back to be honest but enjoyed the trip. Good service

Best holiday we have ever had. Beachfront villa was excellent, great location close to the main pool where they have 2 swimming pools, one of them excellent for younger children. Kids club is great, as are the bikes you can hire on arrival. Food was some of the best we have had on holiday, especially Aquapazza which serves italian food of the highest quality, try the truffle pizza and the tiramisu. Staff are very attentive and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. Golf course looked amazing and the tennis courts proved very useful for some much needed exercise. We are looking to return very soon, probably when its a little cooler as it was touching 35 degrees.

Room Tip: we had a beach front villa, close to main pool which was excellent. Bikes are great get them as you...

Simply being in Mauritius is its own incredible experience, however both the Four Seasons resort at Anahita elevate that experience to the level where one comes to the inescapable conclusion... "Can paradise get any better?" Absolutely yes! The service was world-class and every staff member gave the consistent impression that your well-being was of utmost importance to them, that your enjoyment and comfort preceded anything else. The spa at Four Seasons truly blew me away! Each treatment room is elevated above the water on its own stilts and the professional spa experience coupled with the breathtaking setting serves to create a truly unique experience- one aimed to bring about a serenity and relaxation second-to-none. As another guest put it, Four Seasons at Anahita embodies wholly the idea of "faultless luxury".

The Four Seasons in Mauritius excelled in every way but the most impressive part of our stay was the service that we received throughout our holiday. We have been lucky enough to visit many excellent hotels around the world but the service we experienced here was the best we had ever received. Every member of staff made it their job to make sure you were happy, they were always polite and friendly yet never intrusive or pushy. In fact two members of staff in particular Pravesh (beach/pool attendant) and Laura from Beau Champ Restaurant were excellent and learnt the way we liked drinks, tables or particular beach lounges. The staff showed great initiative and the management have a lot to be proud of in this resort.
The hotel itself it set in a beautiful area which is set back from anything else, the resort is large yet feels very intimate still and maintained to a very high standard. Our room was beautiful and the plunge pool and 10 yard walk to the beach amazing.
A picturesque hotel that stands out upon the others and whether you are going there for a honeymoon like we were, a couples retreat or a family break the hotel manages to cater for everyone.
A tip that is mentioned on TA a lot is to take a few bottles of drink with you which is recommended, pick up a few bottles in duty free and keep them in your room for a pre or post dinner drink but the hotels drinks are not as expensive as made out. Yes if you want to drink the best wine then you will pay more than normal but if you are happy with South African wines which are more local then you will pay the same as a bottle from any London restaurant.
A brilliant stay and I would not think twice about returning to this amazing resort and country.

Room Tip: Beach front rooms are closer to the facilities and are not to overlooked but if you want more privac...
