A very quiet resort away from it all. We travelled by bus from Naxos Town to Apeiranthos village (Euros 3.10 per person each way & well worth visiting) & were then picked up by our accommodation (Agerino Studios) as the buses to the village do not start until mid July so really need a car to get there. Really twisty, windy road down to Mousouna, but the perfect place to chill as there is VERY little to do except relax – 3 tavernas (inc ‘The Net’), 1 café, very small shop (really just a room with a few basics), a couple of small beaches and a couple of places offering accommodation (eg Agerino Studios & Ostria). It's a very quiet village - the small harbour was used by the local emery mines - now just rusty relics.
We found it the perfect place to start our holiday as a way to completely unwind!
