Peter & Ann Hunt run this B & B. We visited in the summer 2005. It is clean and a great value. We were a family of four (in their "family room") and had plenty of space and the bathroom was very nice & spacious as well (we didn't find this often in our trip to Europe!). There are also 2 twin rooms (sharing a large bathroom).
It is set in the country. There are horses and cows, and lovely views. Lots of places to walk. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The Hunts were very welcoming and a great source of information.
Another thing worth noting. The Hunts are car enthusiasts, in addition to being equestrians (vaulting). They showed us their Austin Healy that went around the world. My husband, children & I all had a great time and found it a great base for exploring. Blair Castle was an easy drive, as well as Stirling. If you go up to Blair Castle they have Highland Nights in the summer (check ahead for a schedule). Also, there is a very good restaurant called McDonalds (NOT the Big Mac McDonalds) in Pitlochry. Salmon was excellent.
Located next to Gleneagles Golf Course. We're not golfers, but heard it is a great course. There is also a cottage available for rent on the property.
