4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

Good quality hotel in quiet countryside surroundings. Easily accessible to Paris if you have a car (and with secluded private parking at no additional cost).

Rooms are in a purpose built annex away from the chateau which houses the restaurant, bar, pool and function / conference rooms.

Rooms are fine and modern, and kept clean. Most rooms have a double bed with a convertible sofa bed and look out to woodland or the interior courtyard.

A number of years ago, when I last visited, the main restaurant was more self styled "fine dining" and over priced for what was offered. Now it is styled "Novotel Café", meaning you can get a good meal at a decent price, and the service was excellent (bar, restaurant and reception).

I would have no hesitation to recommend or return, but you need a car, and don't expect to walk to small local restaurants / bars

We chose this hotel for our last night in France because it is very conveniently located for CDG airport (only about half an hour awayeven in the rush hour in the middle of a thunderstorm). The hotel is very decent, and very modern, the staff friendly. The restaurant in the very elegant old chateau was very pleasant; it was a lovely evening, so we dined outside on the terrace. The food was good and service was excellent, provided by the charming Fernando.
The only real drawback to the hotel was finding it--it is set behind two villages, Maffliers and Montsoult, so even though it is only a mile or less from a major highway it is very tricky to find. Google map or equivalent very much advised.
The next time we are looking for a hotel near the airport for our last night before departure this will be our no. 1 choice.

An excellent hotel. Caring staff and so well positioned. Beautiful grounds. We found it because it was in the right place to visit friends, but will definitely go again. So easy to get to Paris by train too.

Room Tip: Ask for Jew of park.

The hotel is situated beautifully in the grounds of the chateau, which houses the bar, dining rooms and pool. It is surrounded by forest and a 15 minute walk from a small village with a fantastic boulangerie. A riding school on site adds interest. What a pity there aren't more seats around the grounds, only on the terrace.
The rooms are well appointed, though there seemed to be a problem with the air conditioning during our stay. Breakfast offered a good choice and our evening meals were also quite good.
As a base for excursions the hotel was excellent being an hour from central Paris, Chateau of Chantilly and Giverny.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back may be more quiet if there is a wedding party or similar (there were two the weeke...

Just spent a very pleasant four nights at this hotel. It's everything you'd expect from a decent hotel chain.

The hotel is divided into two units set in parkland grounds. The older Chateaux contains bar, restaurant, bar, pool etc., The modern accommodation block some 100 meters away with breakfast facilities. The air conditioned rooms were well presented, clean and very comfortable with well stocked minibar, kettle and safe. Even the bedroom does shut quietly. Breakfast includes eggs, bacon, sausage as well as all you'd expect of a good continental standard. Evening meals were also very acceptable.

WiFi available thought the hotel although it kept dropping out with annoying regularity.

The rooms are pretty standard, but are comfortable enough. The buffet breakfast is also adequate, I liked the chinaware.

The indoor pool in the chateau is small, but OK for a little bit of exercise. There is also a sauna, an outdoor pool and tennis courts. The hotel is set in nice grounds and one evening when we ate our meal on the terrace of the hotel we culd see the deer walking by.

The food in the restaurant was quite good. But at around €16 for a burger and fries and €7 for a large beer it's not good value. Overall it was OK, but if there was somewhere else available in the area, I probably would go there.

We enjoyed our stay here greatly the kids loved the fact there was various things to do and we liked it as they were free of charge. Yes the swimming pool is external to the main hotel as is the bar and the restaurant but we enjoyed this as it sort of felt like you were going out even though you were still on site. The rooms are clean and tidy and have nice facilities including a nice coffee machine albeit not massive in size. The staff were all really nice and polite, we would definitely come back here again.
