The other cafés in the town were overflowing with queues so I had lunch at Laura's with a friend on Queens birthday Monday. I ordered the corn fritters with bacon. I was surprised that the fritters weren't home made. I was expecting a higher standard and at $17 I thought this quite pricey for what the meal comprised.I eat out regularly and didn't think this was value for money. Although the rest of the cabinet food looked good. The old photos are nice.. Laura's has a nice atmosphere, and decor, staff friendly and helpful but it's the quality of the food that brings people back.
