“A Very Warm Welcome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2012

Stayed here as part of my birthday treat. Ruth and Tim were incredibly warm and friendly hosts. The room was comfy and gorgeous. Their home is quirky and beautiful and Jack the cat was just a bonus, such a cutie. Lovely breakfast and we didn't feel like we were being rushed out of the door this morning. It was about a 7 min walk to the River Cottage Canteen were we ate. Had a great nights sleep in a very comfy bed. Highly recommended. We plan on returning in the future.

Absolutely excellent bed and breakfast. Beautiful rooms which were Immaculately clean. Excellent breakfast with a good variety on offer. The hosts were hospitable whilst not too intrusive. I would thoroughly recommend!!!

We stayed here for a couple of nights, which represented excellent value - price drops from 70ish to 60 pounds per night. House is in a really nice setting by a stream and has a quaint history of its own. Convenient walk to centre of town from here (for young legs). Otherwise its a 1 minute drive. Hosts were really friendly. Rooms were clean, tidy and functional. Good breakfast. Highly recommended b&b.

A very comfortable stay and exceptional value for money. Spotlessly clean, quiet, comfortable room and lovely cooked breakfast. I would recommend it without hesitation. It makes an excellent base for anyone attending one of Axminster Tools training courses as it's less than a mile away.

The house was really cool in it's decor and vibe- was an old mill.

Rooms were clean.
Hosts were friendly.

Only complaint is limited variety at breakfast- only a full English or meatless full was offered.

Tim and Ruth were very welcoming. Rooms clean and pleasant. Lovely bedding (especially the pillows) Good tea, coffee and biscuits provided. Breakfast was excellent(especially Ruth's hand mixed muesli)
It was very quiet even though other guests were there.
