“Strange place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2013 via mobile

Like other reviewers, I found this to be a strange hotel. Massive with long corridors - takes about 5 minutes between the room and lobby or restaurant.

Rooms clean and functional. Decor a bit tired. Overall the place looks out of the 60s.

Restaurant is basic. No fine dining here!

Chose the location as it's near to my business meeting, and no other reason. Bit out in the sticks.

Got a hideous perfume spray in the lift and several other locations, spraying stuff that makes you bilious if you are unlucky enough to stand near it.

Not really recommended, unless on a budget, and even then it's pricey.

Hotel is very far away from Milan, so make sure you know the exact location. It is just huuuge, and the rooms are fine. I would give it a positive feedback, but the thing ist hat it is supposed to have 4 stars, and in my opinion it doesn’t deserve it. It is decent, rather clean and nice hotel, but too expensive in my opinion.

We checked into this hotel and only stayed 1 hour before checking out. This is not like any hotel I have ever stayed in, it's more like a homeless shelter. How can this be 4 star???? there were lots of gangs hanging around outside and drugs being done in the lifts. If you find yourself anywhere near this Hotel turn around and quickly walk the opposite direction.

This hotel is 45 minutes away from Milan. Our room consisted of 2 rooms, one a bedroom and the other a large kitchen with a hard daybed. The bathroom was small. The balony did not have a working light and the cobwebs had not been cleaned. At breakfast they separated the tour groups as each group was given a different amount of food.

Although not centrally located, it is very much near my business interests and so ideal to stay in since it's quite cheap in respect to the service provided. The staff is ok, the rooms super clean and spacious and most of them come with kitchen and sofa, like an aparthotel. The area is safe and there is not a lot of noise in the area. I would suggest this hotel if you intend not to stay much in the city centre but would also like to visit the other cities in the area.

The rates are very good for this hotel, so I would suggest mainly for groups. It's just 30 minutes from Milan and a good location to visit other cities.

I stayed at this establishment for one night as part of a group tour. Everything most other reviewers say is true. First of all, what seems to have once been the actual hotel is non-operational. The functioning hotel is actually a residence. I think I can qualify it as the worst hotel I have ever been at.
1) It is located in what seems to be a rather run-down residential area, I fo
2) The "reception" area consists of a long, ugly, empty corridor, with faded sofas and full of mosquitoes.
3) Out of 4 elevators, only one seemed to be working. There may have been other elevators somewhere else, not sure.
4) The doors were brown, ugly, and dented.
5) We had what you might call a "suite" with plenty of cupboard space, a microwave oven, and a fridge. This is really because it is, as I have mentioned above, a hotel and residence. But the wallpaper was dirty, torn in parts, and there was a big reddish stain in one part of it - I would have felt sick to eat in there.
6) As we wanted to go out on the balcony, we discovered a huge cobweb clinging to the balcony door hinge, so we gave up going on the balcony at all.
7) No carpet on the floor.
8) There was a species of ants all over the furniture.
9) The furniture seemed quite new, but it was dark and, together with the ugly, striped wallpaper, gave a rather sinister look to the entire room.
10) There was an unpleasant smell all over.
11) The bathroom was fairly clean, although I did notice what I believe was a mosquito in the shower (which I would have ignored, had not everything else been so uninviting)and the toilet had been decontaminated. The towels were big and clean, but there were some holes in them (which again, would have been an unimportant detail but for the other circumstances).
13) The shower is very small, I have a small frame but I wondered how a bigger person would cope. I know this is acceptable for Italy, but I've seen better than this in Italy itself.\
14) I could hear every detail of conversation from the adjacent suite.
15)) We had half board. Dinner was reasonable, and so was breakfast, but we had to use plastic forks for breakfast.
I think you get the picture,
Don't stay there.
