The beach is at your doorstep and there is only a few cottages. A welcome relief from busy Bali. Each cottage has a veranda with a view to the beach and seaweed farms. The room was basic, clean and had a bathroom with a shower. There is no pool but it isn't really needed considering the ocean is literally on your doorstep.

Room Tip: There is no hot water in the bathroom.

We arrived in the afternoon without having booked anywhere, went to the closest main area to find a room & initially checked out the hotel next door which was charmless and more expensive than Mega Cottages. So glad to have found Mega, we paid IDR250 000 for the cottage, with both AC & fan (travelled in low season).

They are new and very clean, beautiful simple wooden structures with fantastic spacious verandahs all of which overlook the sea. The gardens are nice and will grow to be incredible. Joe (owner) was lovely & assisted us with hiring scooters and going on a snorkel trip (I highly recommend the snorkelling, we swam with the most magestic manta rays!!) Breakfast not included but there are plenty of warungs behind the sea front for tasty & cheap food & shops where I bought fresh delicious rambutan fruit & bananas. Hiring scooters is the best way to get around to the incredible beaches & views.

We felt very comfortable here and highly recommend Mega Cottages as the perfect place to stay in Nusa Lembongan. I will definately be back!!!

Room Tip: All cottages look out to the sea. Rooms and bathrooms are very clean & comfy. Our room had AC as...

Stayed here for a week. Exploded the whole island and there is nowhere I would rather stay. The bungalows are very nice, and sleeping to the sound of the waves was amazing. Joe, the owner is a great guy. Nice, honest and an all around good guy. Highly recommend this place!!

Room Tip: Stay here.

We arrived in Nusa Lembongan without having booked accommodation and just walked up the beach asking around until we found this place. A lot of the places around it were more like small hotels/guesthouses and we liked the fact that these were bungalows. We paid 250 000 rupiah per bungalow - note that those were for the fan rooms though, I imagine the aircon bungalows are more expensive (that said I found Nusa Lembongan quite cool at night so I didn't feel like I needed aircon at all). The were really clean and spacious with balconies and the gardens were really nicely laid out - the place is still quite new so I imagine the gardens will only get better. They also had a pot of water with a ladle at each bungalow for rinsing off feet which is a nice touch.
The location is nice - they're right on the beach and the sunset views are superb, the only issue is that the beach in Jungutbatu isn't great for swimming (very shallow) so you have to walk down to Coconuts beach at least for a proper dip. But since this was less half the price of any of the places around Coconuts you can't complain. There are also loads of places to eat nearby (I recommend Linda's for amazing mahi-mahi) so the fact that they don't serve breakfast isn't a problem. The service was also great, Joe was very helpful and can arrange anything you need (which in Nusa Lembongan is really just scooters and snorkelling trips).
So if you're looking for somewhere clean, reasonably priced, centrally-located and close to the beach I can definitely recommend this place.

Room Tip: They all have a seaview - fan rooms are probably cheaper although they might be adding aircon to all...

We arrived to Nusa Lembongan quite late in the eve, so we did not have much time to find a suitable accommodation. After some help from the locals we ended up being in some cottage (near the harbour) that seemed pretty decent. Until the night fell! The noise was unbearable. After a rough night, we decided to change the accommodation. I have checked all the accommodations within the normal walking distance (on the beach, harbour side), when I found a gem (just next door to our previous location). The new cottages, neatly designed, clean,... with a really good price (at first I though that the price was per person as it was one of the nicest accommodations available there for the lowest price, but it was per room!!!). The fact that the breakfast was not included & offered within the place, it was not bothering at all. As you have so many places serving food just next door. Joe, the owner, is a really kind guy that will help you with anything. When our friend visited us, he gladly arranged additional bed for him in our cottage. Would love to stay longer, but at there is no ATM on Nusa Lembongan we had to go back to the "mainland". Absolutely recommend it!

Room Tip: I think all of them are nice!
