“A great place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2013

If you are looking for a chance to relax in a friendly well appointed place - then this is it. The views were beautiful and our family had a wonderful time. The owner, Kim, and the staff could not do enough to help, the rooms were so clean and the bed - WOW so comfortable, bathroom really nice too. The food was delicious and if you didn't want to do much you had no need to leave the place at all. If you you wanted to explore the Island scooters were provided at no extra charge but for a a small charge a pick up could be arranged

Room Tip: All the rooms were great

We stayed in a small bungalow with plunge pool, which wasn't as private as hoped. Other guests could walk past us in our pool and the bathroom, though gorgeous, was so open air that another guest said hello to my husband as he was sitting on the toilet!

Kim was helpful but we found it a bit overbearing at times when we had wanted a private getaway.

The room was beautiful, but there was nowhere to hang or store clothes. Other touches were nice.

We weren't prepared for how far away it was from everything. I like to be able to walk to the beach and other restaurants which we couldn't do from Twin Island Villas.

Pricing was a bit chaotic but the staff and quality of the food was superb.

I have enjoyed staying at the locally-owned businesses in Nusa Lembongan more than here.

We came for 3 days stayed for 3 weeks- need i say much more!? Kim the owner is a beautiful lady and so hospitable! The rooms are all amazing as well an the food and now she has just finished putting in an amazing bar! We loved our stay and are now life long friends! Most of the rooms come with with a private pool or if you stay in the big villa you have a huge pool to play in! The staff are incredible and they even took my partner and i to one of there ceremonies and let us both borrow there clothes so we fit it! Was one of my favourite ever travel experiences- and i travel a lot!!!!

I had a quick look at the other reviews and though to myself wow the all so long, now i realise why, there are so many good things to say about this place!

From the bottom of my heart thank you guys

If you are not prepared to drive a moped, I don't think this is the resort for you. Furthermore, if you prefer to be in the heart of things then I would consider looking elsewhere.

Twin Islands is a very relaxed resort, located in a fairly remote part of the island and one can only access the main beaches etc by moped or car. That said, the location for us was not a problem at all as we love exploring and driving around on a moped was a highlight. A bike is provided FREE OF CHARGE (a nice surprise!) along with a phone for emergencies and helmets if you prefer to be safe.

The locally employed staff at the resort are delightful and will go out of their way to help you. The food is very good and worth the long wait. It is very relaxed and everything is usually served at once so don't necessarily expect your drink to arrive first.

The views over the channel are lovely and I'd recommend exploring Nusa Ceningan too.

We weren't expecting a plunge pool as Kim informed us that there weren't any available when we booked so it was a nice surprise to find that we did actually have one!

At times things seemed a little disorganized and we weren't sure if there was any security at night but I may be wrong here so apologies if there was - we just didn't ever see anybody.

All in all we had a great time at Twin Islands - we weren't so sure at first but went away loving it!!

The motto of this place "Come as a guest, leave as family" is spot on.
From the moment we have walked through the door until now, we have experienced nothing under 5 star service and quality. The location, although quite far from the town, is beautiful! There is an amazing view of the ocean, Ceningan island and the mangroves. Mopeds are given for transport around the island and Kim the owner told us that in a couple of weeks they are getting a transport van to get guests around.
Kim is absolutely amazing along with Anya, Paul and all of the staff, who we have all made fast friends with. Everyone goes out of their way to ensure that our experience is the best it can be. One of the new staff members Lien-dung took us across to Cenigan for a day to go cliff diving and sight seeing, other staff members cater to me being vegetarian and having allergies.
The food is amazing! Can't get over the Migoreng breakfast and the curries at night. Even the western food is incredible.
No need to use the aircon or bug repellent. The weather is amazing.
I can't get over this place our stay isn't even over and I'm already sending in a review.
Cannot wait to return!

Just spent 4 amazing days at Twin Island Villas and have fallen in love with it! So nice to relax and wind down on this beautiful Island. The staff at the Villas were fantastic in every way possible! Couldn't have been more helpful! There was not a single thing that was too much for them as they bent over backwards to make our stay the best ever! We were chauffeured around the island on the back of motorbikes with Budhi and Madah and were made to feel very very safe! The staff were also amazing at suggesting things we should see and do on the Island! They even packed up a picnic lunch complete with sandwiches, fruit salad and bintangs in an esky for our snorklling adventure! Amazing!!! Loved having our own private pool and beach area! Kim the owner was lovely and she too went out of her way to help us! They are in the middle of building a new bar area now which has amazing views across the water! My only disappointment is that we have to leave and won't be here to see the completed area! It's going to be spectacular! Thanks Kim and staff for a great holiday! Cathy & Paul

This is my first post on tripadvisor. I was compelled to sign up because of the amazing experience I had at Twin Island Villas. My first visit to Bali, this place offered much more than I expected. The staff are wonderful and the setting is both peaceful and gorgeous. Twin Villas is located on a quiet part of the island (very close to the bridge to Nusa Ceningan), but transport is free to top restaurants and scooters are available for guest use. We used a scooter to get to our yoga class - it worked perfectly. The food prepared by the staff was delicious and the kitchen is spotless. Amazing value for $ too. FYI - there were a few critters in our room, but I was *surprisingly* not bothered by this at all. Everything else was too beautiful to care. We named our gecko roommie "Henry".

Room Tip: We stayed in the "Love Shack" (Villa King Bed). It is the unit pictured in the hotel photo...
