What a perfect place to stay on the island of Lembongan! Beautiful hut, authentic, nice garden with pool and wonderful staff. This was the best price/quality ration of all hotels we stayed at in and around Bali. Very easy to get around on the island. We rented scooters for a good price.

Nanuks offers a very nice and clean bungalows, really liked the outside bathroom and a good and large bed also a nicely decorated hotel area and a small pool.
If you want to go snorkeling a would recomend you rent a scooter and drive to the north of the island, to te mangrov forest and look for Captain Jungtu(or something simmilar), we payed 150k IDR for both and we snorkeled in one location for 2h.
The only problem is location beacuse most boats to the island land at Jungut bay and also here are all the cheaper restaurants.

We stayed here with a bunch of friends and we all had babies, the staff were so nice to us and really looked after us and we kinda took over the place. Breakfast is basic...pancakes and banana juice were good.We ate more out at other accommodation near us, Bay shore huts and mushroom bay bungalows.
Nice clean rooms with huge beds, though my sink leaked onto the floor it was an outside bathroom so didn't matter.
We did get a bit of bungalow envy when we checked out our other friend's place's that were right on the beach in mushroom bay.
The bar by the pool got a lot of use from the boys buying bintangs.
Nice place to stay as the staff really made this place fab...hugs and shaking hands when we left.

Room Tip: We had the only family room(2 rooms, one up one down) I would go for the bungalows that are at the...

When we arrived at Nanuks Bungalow we were surprised of the nice houses around the small swimming pool. We were welcomed very friendly and found a clean and cosy bungalow with an open bathroom at the back of the wooden house.
As a result, it is a pitty that I have to give just one point, but let me tell why.

If you stay at Nanuks you will soon recognize, that some things are quite a little bit shabby. The wooden chairs loose their armrest, if you lean against them, some of the tables waggle as soon as you touch them. The house where the „kitchen“ is inside looks really uncared for, and is in need of new paint. Maybe they want to extend their kitchenette: therefore every material is just thrown in the back while the guests have their breakfast just 2 meters away of the dirt.
To be honest, these things arent really a problem. The real problem occured at the end of our stay.

When we had to pay our bill, they wanted to charge us a scooter for 4 days – in fact we had just one day a scooter. We saw the paper chaos and had to tell them more than once, that we didnt have a scooter for that long. We warned another couple sitting next to us, but they told us, that they experienced the same one day ago.
After that they calculated on different small paper sheets and told us an amount we had to pay. They didn´t use any computer to show the bill, everything was done with a pen. As the taxi was already waiting we couldn´t check the bill again very well so we paid by credit card. When we checked all the small bills again some minutes later in the taxi we recognized, that they nevertheless charched us to much. Very annoying, but no problem, I thought. I believed in the honesty of the management and wrote an email, where I summed up all the bills again and showed them the mistakte. We asked if they could transfer the money back.
You can´t believe it: I sent them my email several times, they didn´t even answer. I have never heard anything of them again.
As a conclusion I have to realize the following: The people at Nanuks Bungalow just see your money, the wanted to cheat two times and in the end they were succesfull. The worst is that they are unable to answer my emails, true to the solgan „Out of sight, out of mind“!
They are not willing to apologize for their mistake. This shows me that the people do not act professionally with customers. Ignoring all my emails is not a friendly way of customer care!

Because of this I can´t recommend Nanuks Bungalow, even we had a nice stay until we had to pay. Just be aware of the people there who can´t numerate. Check all the bills exactly, if they charge you too much (what in fact will happen a lot of times I think), you will never hear of them again (even if they tell you the days before what nice person you are). Very unprofessional! Very dishonest!

The staff at this place are some of the nicest ones we have met in a hotel. All of them are really friendly and helpful! The bungalows are nice and traditional in style, with outdoor bathroom. You can stand in the shower and look up at the stars in the sky above you. The rooms were cleaned every day and the standard of the room is good and clean.
The location is near Mushroom beach (short walk). We also walked to Jungutbatu by the water (15-20 min walk). However, it does get really dark at night and it is hard to find the way without a big torch.
One thing I missed in the room is a refrigerator. However, the bar is always open and you can buy drinks any time and put them on a tab. Very easy...
We liked Lembongan island a lot and would like to go back for sure! A tip is to hiry pushbikes and go to Nusa Ceningan (the neighbour island). It is easy to go by bike everywhere on the island and there are very few cars.

Room Tip: All the rooms are very similar and all are in good locations.

Big works to build another hotel just near nanuk's, impossible to rest or sleep at the morning.
Garbages are near the Kitchen and it's stink a lot, very not conformatable to take your meal!
Last but not the least, the view of a rat near the Kitchen during our breakfast!!
Do not go there!

My partner and I did some travelling around different Isalnds in Indonesia, and our stay here was probably the most relaxing part of our trip.
The rooms are simple, highly authentic, beautifully made and amazingly comfortable. We felt completely at ease here, and could have stayed for a week.
The staff were wonderful, everybody is smiling and very friendly, no request is met with anything other than a smile and a helpful response, Jacob was especially helpful to my partner and I.
I would definitely reccomend hiring a scooter for at least a day and exploring, the roads are small and poor, but if you take it slow it is actually quite safe and relaxing to travel around.
We also went diving which was pretty amazing, there is a site called manta point which we were very excited to visit, but it was too choppy in the water. That aside the diving was still great.
This island is also very popular for surfing, but more for advanced surfers.
You should not stay here without trying the Arak honey and lime, we loved it and got quite addicted to it.
The beaches here are quite amazing, and there is a hidden beach (less than 10 mins walk) that was completely empty when me and my partner visited it for a whole day.
Would 100% reccommend to anybody looking for some relaxation away from crowds.
