“Spectacular! Beautiful caves”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

Moravian Karst encompasses roughly 1100 caverns and gorges (only four caves are available for visitors). The Punkva caves are the most sought after of the Moravian Karst Caves - lie two kilometers from the Rock Mill (Skalní Mlýn).
The Punkva Caves have gained popularity due to the fact that allows visitors to get to the bottom of the abyss stepmother. Attraction is also the possibility to explore the cave on the boats, on the underground river Punkvi, but because the weather (it was snowing) we couldn't took it.

These are the finest Moravian Karst caves, accessible to visitors throughout the year.
The hours changes depending on the month. Visiting the caves takes place only with a guide, it takes 60 minutes.

THe cost: Ticket - 100CK, and small train - 80CK, if you don’t choose to walk to the cave entrance (2km on the asphalted road, along the Punkva River).

“Spectacular”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 10, 2013

Came all the way from Prague in one day to see the caves and was definately worth the trip. Took a walking and boat tour of Punkva Caves and Machocha Abyss - was one of the most beautiful views i have seen.
The tour guide did not speak english which was a shame, but was still an amazing day trip from Prague.

“Moravian Karst is not only Punkva caves”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2013

Really wonderfull place. Hundreds and hundreds years old sculptures in Sloupsko-Sosuvske jeskyne, boat ride at Punkevni jeskyne with many tons of stone above your had is amazing, nice view to Macocha and many many others... Beware of limited space especially to Punkevni jeskyne. There are also many other (non so crowded) places as Konsky zleb.
