“Nice place, good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2014 via mobile

We arrived just when it started to rain and everybody from the evening market on the square wanted to escape from the rain, but we got a table quite quickly - many others were less lucky. However, the time before we could order seemed too long. The food came relatively quickly and was very nice Belgian style food. Price level quite low compared to many other Brussels restaurants of the same standard. Would go back again - the menu had other things too I'd like to taste.

“Friendly atmosphere and honest food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2014

We happen to come here for lunch on Sundays when it is too late to be served in most of the other scarce restaurants in the neighborhood that are open on Sunday. The atmosphere is very pleasant with a decoration from another age and clients ranging from the elderly people having their traditional Sunday lunch, over young local people having a drink while reading a book to tourists. The menu doesn't contain any extraordinary dishes but offers many Belgian and Italian classics and a range of Portuguese specialties. We tried out several of them and so far we have never been disappointed, neither by the quality nor the quantity. Try the Portuguese desert "roulé à l'orange", it's delicious. Prices are what you can expect for a brasserie.
