“Great find in an interesting area.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2012

We chose this hotel over others closer to the centre for value for money over location. Glad we did. Lovely hotel, clean, spacious, nice bathroom, tv, mini bar and free wifi in the room. The staff were helpful too although they don't supply a map like others do. Breakfast was plentiful.

The location is a metro and a tram ride away from the main sites but didn't phase me and if you take a walk to the metro for a change you can take in some lovely art noveux buildings. We added the cost of commute to our trip & still got value for money, the trams are every 15 mins and run until midnight while the trains are every couple of mins. One trip metro is €2, we got the 5 trip pass which worked out quite well (each trip lasts 60 mins & a tram & metro within 60 mins is classed as one trip).

Would recommend this hotel. We followed directions fom another contributor on this site who successfully navigated us to the hotel.

We stayed 7 nights the last week of Aug. 2012, and we were very happy with everything about the hotel. This hotel was like a good four star, the staff is very helpful, has an excellent breakfast both hot and cold, the rooms were clean and modern. It is located in a nice area to walk around in, with lots of restaurants, and you can be at the centre in a few minutes, by tram which is just around the corner from the hotel.

Room Tip: We had a nice room over looking the garden in the back of the hotel.

The hotel was close to the place I had a conference, it took me 10 min to walk there. But it's rather far from the city center. The street is safe to walk alone, there are a lot of caffees and restaurants around.

Room Tip: I was alone in the room 707, was good room for me

Located in the heart of Brussels, this hotel turned out to be a hidden diamond. The price of 60 euro per night is like a budget hotel, but the hotel is too good for this price. The windows in the rooms open onto busy streets of Brussels downtown. But the friendly front office staff and the facilities in the rooms make it a great hotel. I will visit this hotel any number of times.

The hotel is in a Art Deco area of Brussels, well connected to the city centre by tram 92 (there are also buses stopping nearby at the Ma Campagne stop).
It is very pleasant to walk around the area, lots of shops of every kind in the Chaussée de Waterloo nearby, lots of cafès too.
The room I stayed in was very modern, extremely clean and very comfortable.
Only comment is that there was a blanket in the bed, and not a duvet which I do prefer.
Internet connection was included in the price and was good.
I had the buffet breakfast and there was a good choice including cold meats and cheeses.
Staff was pleasant.
I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't care for or needs a city centre hotel.
