“The perfect family getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2013

If you're seeking a fabulous tranquil country setting with wonderful hosts & amenities with a superb garden & fruit trees, lovely grounds and warm inviting clean fit for a good size family sweet accomodation, then Tree Elle Retreat is perfect! Nearby we did the Tree Top Walk in Walpole and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly with family visitors from the USA. We would highly recommend this amazing spot and take more visitors down there again and again. Ahh, the warm delicious smell of homemade bread, cozy fireplace, fun farm chooks & even a turkey, fresh eggs and little touches here & there on the property has brought lasting memories for a lifetime. Thank you! Love to go there even as just a couple for a romantic getaway!

What a gem Tree Elle luxurious loft houses are...welcomed by the delightful strains of music and smell of fresh bread, and wood fire ready to be lit .How we loved those rainy nights by the cozy fire, with conversation replacing the TV.
Surprises galore as we explored our new home for 5 nights...fresh food in fridge and plenty of supplies for breakfast and to make your own bread and a variety of goodies to make a meal if you "forgot" something.
Our house was spotlessly clean, had very spacious bedrooms with crisp linen and 2 bathrooms meant no "waiting"..laundry was a bonus and the kitchen was a dream...very peaceful outlook from the living areas and great to have the sheep visit us.
The lovingly manicured gardens are a sanctuary to just sit or meander and discover the variety of plants and trees, ..or perhaps play a game on the giant chess board. Anddd there is a serve yourself coffee nook, andddd help yourself to bits from the vege garden. Children would love the animals and the "roam free" vast garden area to explore. This would be a stunning setting for a wedding and there is a larger house ideal for a family gathering.
Tree Elle is a perfect location to visit the BIG trees, take a scenic drive,or better still, stay home..its that kind of place.
The owners have thought of everything to make your stay the very best experience ever...have you ever seen a first aid kit in any other place? They are the perfect hosts, unobtrusive but willing to offer any advice and direct you on pleasant walks in the area. Tree Elle is a place you plan to revisit before you even leave there.. Congratulations to owners Kim and Peter.

Simply the place to stay when visiting this part of the southern WA coast... although, I almost didn't want to write this review, because it still seems like the best kept secret between an exclusive group of Tree Elle Friends! And you are treated like friends when you stay here; welcomed with smiles, beautiful gardens, comfortable houses and contentedly clucking chooks! The smell of freshly baked bread greeting you and the diet of hand-picked veggie and fruit goodness really does raise the spirits and provide you with the perfect getaway... we have gone as a couple and with a full family (including teens, who were equally as impressed!) and know that we will definitely be back again... and again... and again... as long as the team will keep having us!

Our house very clean, spacious and had all the amenities you would need from making dinner to starting a warm cozy fire (in the fireplace of course) to a bit of light laundry (if you've been on holiday for the past two weeks like us). Serious thought and planning was done by Elle into making sure your stay really had everything you needed and more. Need some tea to enjoy your view? There's tea in the cupboards. Some butter and eggs needed for your breakfast? It's in the fridge. Need a pot and some condiments to cook that marron you bought for dinner? It's all there! Coming from the concrete jungle and doing the daily corporate grind, Tree Elle was the perfect solution for my wife and I to get away from it all and spend good quality time together. Great open spaces, quirky/cute animals nearby roaming, some fresh veggie to pluck and spruce up your meal in the gardens. All I can say is wow.

Having stayed in so many other venues around the world, Tree Elle is the only place that my wife and I still always talk about and want to go back to. It was our little peace of heaven. Charlie their doggie is so adorable too! Now...if only the aussie dollar would just weaken a bit...

We stayed at Tree Elle in January in the barnhouse and had a fantastic break. I love the gardens, the chicken coop, the fresh bread and supplies in the cupboard.
The location is perfect for day trips to Walpole, Denmark and Greens Pool.
We'll be back.

We stayed in one of the loft houses and were really pleased with the amenities, the well provisioned pantry and the thoughtful touches like arriving to the smell of newly baked bread. We had the best time ever in a lovely location. The log fires made the cool evenings cosy and relaxing. Our overseas guests from North America were most impressed with the whole experience, and we "locals" will definitely be back!

Our little family enjoyed the most relaxing break away in a gorgeous part of the world known as 'Tree Elle'.
The passion the owners have for the industry shines through in every aspect of the property.

We stayed in the deluxe Barnhouse and our needs were met in everyway.
The extra little thoughful touches were a rare treat given the numerous venues we have stayed at over the years. From the home grown items in the fridge to the fresh bread set on timer in the bread machine for our arrival.
The gardens were a blissful escape from reality and there is nothing more relaxing than enjoying breakfast on the verandah overlooking the gardens.

Our little son Hamish loved the freedom of the gardens and as parents we were delighted the surroundings were ever so safe for children.

Kim and Elle could not do enough to ensure our stay was magical! We simply did not want to leave. (looking forward to meeting Peter next time we visit, we hope!!)

Tree Elle was a life changing experience for us, we cannot wait to return later in the year and have told everyone and anyone we know just how amazing this location is.
Looking forward to enjoying a massage in the spa area when it is back up and running!

Keep up the AMAZING work Kim, Peter and Elle ....... - The Kirby Family

Room Tip: If the Barnhouse is available for the dates you are seeking, spoil yourself and book for as long as...
