Just had 7 great days here. The apartment was fantastic, plenty of room and the added bonus of walking out onto our terrace and into the lovely heated pool. Just a short walk to the beach and cafes something for everyone. Marcoola surf club well worth a vist meals were lovely and reasonably priced. They're a great team at the Sand Dunes, fully recommend this resort we hope to be back sometime.

Room Tip: 3 bedroom apartments with direct access to heated pool are great for those who want the flexibility...

Away from everything, but just a short drive to everything, local shops are walking distance. So best of both worlds. Bed was really comfortable, clean. Close to beach with great pools. Glad to have stumbled accross this one. We went to Coolum surf club one night for dinner, easy nice drive.

This place is absolutely brilliant for a family, clean, roomy and has everything you need except action! Booking rooms off the net can be very hard and the only thing I can offer outside of all the brilliant reviews this place has got and 100% deserves is there is no decent restaurant or bar within walking distance...really nothing other than a unromantic looking Chinese and curry house. If this doesn't matter to you..go for it as in every other way it's perfect! Xxx

We stayed at these apartments for 2 weeks and found them to be very comfortable and spotlessly clean. They had everything you needed including dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer even a cafetiere. The furniture and bedding were to a high standard and complimentary toiletries were aromatherapy and a very nice touch. The heated pool and spa were always clean and very inviting particularly the spa which was very warm. There was another outdoor pool which was not heated and was quite cold so we didn't use this but I am sure it would be lovely in the summer. We went as a family with two young boys and they loved that it was only a sort walk to the most amazing beach part of which was patrolled by lifeguards and great for bodyboarding. You had an allocated under cover car park space for free and wifi was around 49.95 dollars a week but was very fast and unlimited. We were also given a complimentary 11am check out. There was a little noise from the nearby road and airport but nothing to ruin a stay. If possible ask for a room away from the road and then this won't be an issue. All in all a great stay.

Room Tip: Ask for one away from the road and next to the beach.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment on the first floor and loved it.

We had a fully equipped kitchen, fully aircon, ensuite in main bed and flat screen TVs. Couches and dining table were modern and comfortable. Beds were comfortable enough. Good water pressure in showers. Nice balcony with 6 seat table.

The pools were lovely and 1 heated. Also a large spa that could fit at least 15.

We would return.

We stayed here for 9 nights in a 2 Bedroom Apartment on the top Floor. The Apartment was large and roomy, also very well equipped with nice furniture and comfortable beds. Only Complaint with beds was our Sheet had weird stains (Please See Photo). We also had two bathrooms which was nice with a family of 4.
There was no lifts, so the hike up the many many stairs with luggage etc was a challenge at times. If travelling with Older people ( Like we did) ask for a Ground Floor unit.
The Pools are fantastic. You have the big lagoon which was a bit too chilly to swim in at this time of year. But you also had the warm pool and the hot Spa.
The Staff were more than accommodating when i asked for more blankets after our first night.
The resort is very close to the Airport, which you do hear the planes alot while outside and sometimes while in your rooms, unless all windows are closed tight then you dont notice them. Jet Fuel smell was smelt alot while at the resort pools, balconies and stair wells but not so much in the rooms.
All in all we had a fantastic stay here and would recommed this resort to anyone. Would stay again.

Thank you for your time to review our resort. We appreciate your comments and are pleased you enjoyed your stay with us and look forward to you staying with us again. I do regret that you did not give us the opportunity to change the sheets that had a stain on it, as regrettably there are occasions when housekeeping can make a mistake, as we would have been only to happy to do this and would have sent this sheet back to our supplier.

We had a two-bedroom on the first floor. Kitchen cutlery was a bit sparse, and the phone wasn't working, but management was very friendly and we enjoyed our stay. Beds were comfortable, loved the second tv (also with cable) in the master bedroom, having two bathrooms was great, and the washer-dryer was great for holidays. Being around the pool, there was noise from other families playing, but if you don't mind that you'll have a great stay. Central location and supermarkets just down the road, walk to the beach. Clean and comfortable. Security was very good - auto gate for car park works on your key. Large unheated pool was a bit too cold in winter but the heated pool was good and big enough for swimming around. We would go back.
