This was the second time we stayed at Sand Dunes Resort. Our first visit was back in January 2008 where we stayed for 10 nights. I have to say that the only thing that this resort has lost since then is the 'MANTRA' name (which in my opinion is not a loss at all).
Being a past guest we got a great deal. We stayed in a two bedroom luxury apartment for 10 nights from 11 to 21 December 2011 and we loved it. Everything about this resort is great, very modern and clean, the apartments are spacious, the pool is spectacular, the spa is very relaxing, staff are very helpful and happy to assist you with any enquiry that you may have, quiet location even though it is close to the airport and just a short walk to the beach.
We had a 1.30pm flight back to Melbourne so they even let us check out later than usual.
We have stayed in many places over the times but I have to say Sand Dunes Resort is the only one so far that ticks all the boxes for us.
