Khirsu would basically mean the GMVN tourist rest house. The silence and the openness of the property is very soothing. Be warned that the cottages do not have any fans, and the afternoon in May was uncomfortable. With flies swarming, the door could not be kept open, and the sun was strong. There is also water shortage, but one has to be prudent in using this resource everywhere. Being from Delhi, it did not bother us much. We got a glimpse of the view, and I assume it will be better after the rains, when the haze has reduced. A nic eplace for a brief stop over. Staff is good, although the rest house seems to be in need for some maintenenace.
