This is a great little beachfront hotel with excellent friendly service. The property is small but the rooms are clean and the staff is very helpful. There is a lot to see and do on the west coast of Puerto Rico although you may just choose to just lounge at the pool or beach and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. There is only one restaurant and a poolside lounge and bar but there are plenty of all types of restaurants in the area. The staff makes great recommendations and if you don't have a car they can arrange transportation. The ambiance during the year is calm although in the summer months the hotel is full of locals and there is local music playing at the pool area and people can be loud. I have been to the hotel many times at all times of the year and it is always nce.

Beautiful vacation resort on western shore of Puerto Rico. The resort is alot of fun as there are a fair amount of visitors inclucing wedding groups. Swimming is excellent because the location is very calm surf-wise compared to rest of the island. We like to run on the at least two miles of beach. I work as well on trips so good internet service is a must and they have it here.

Location is great for short side trips up to and past Rincon - beautiful high cliff shorelines especially by lighthouse, surfing north of Rincon, and of course the very friendly town of Rincon should not be missed.

We booked the hotel through a 3rd. party,which I didn't realize until 3/4 way thru booking. Not happy with 3rd. party booking,they knew very little about the location or the hotel. Arriving we were greeted with a beautiful lobby and open area with beautiful vistas to the ocean. That's where the beauty stopped. The staff at the desk seemed less than interested and when we asked if there were any ocean front upgrades available(the booking agency told us to ask about the upgrade upon arrival) Without lifting his eyes the staff member hit a few keys on the computer and said the hotel was full and no upgrades were available. We checked into our room which was 2 queens ,I had confirmed for a king bed. The room was large but very worn with very few amendities no bedspread,1 picture on the wall, no washcloths, and the floor in bathroom was full of sand. The next day housekeeping left a dirty glass in the bathroom and did not replenish any of the shampoo or soap We went down to the beach which was beautiful and got a drink at the pool side bar. The bar closed at 4.P.M. and we had to go to the lobby bar if we wanted anything after 4. A"swim up" bar was advertised but was not open the entire stay. Beautiful Sunset! We had no coffee pot in the room so I went to the lobby thinking they would have coffee set up for guest . No! we had to go to the restaurant and pay for the coffee. I would think that compimentry coffee would have been offered,espcially considering the cost of room. We also noticed that the hotel was not full as the desk had indicated,as a matter of fact there were very few people around at any time. The desk attitude did not change during our stay,very complasent and every question seemed like a chore. I think the hotel has the potential but if the staff is not given better customer service direction ,I don't think that they will have many return guest. We loved Puerto Rico but I'm afraid that my next visit will not include The Rincon Beach Resort.

Stayed at this location three years ago and almost forgot how beautiful and peaceful it is. Just went back with my wife for a week during Christmas and New year. Just great. The place is immaculate, the stuff very friendly. Very nice rooms, excellent restaurant. Pool and jacuzzi next to the beach. The beach itself is miles long and what it seems to be a private beach, although it is not. Nice warm and calm water most of the time. Good for all, as you can stand in shallow waters or swim in deep water in a short distance. The hotel has, kayaks, surf board, paddle boards etc.
Just a perfect place for a peaceful vacation. They had various activities for the holidays, otherwise no much going on other than relax and enjoy the warm weather. Near by in Rincon are great spots for surf lovers.
