“Lovely house and lovely host”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2014 via mobile

What a beautiful place! Angela was a brilliant host, very welcoming, helpful and knowledgable about the local area. She even took us on a tour of the local villages in her own car. The room was very cosy, comfortable and well decorated. If you get the chance then have an evening meal cooked my Angela to get a taste of real Italy!

This beautiful B&B is located in a lovely scenic and picturesque mountain, just above the Valbrembrana area. Angela the owner was more then lovely... She took such care of us and made us feel at home.

Lovely, idyllic place with the friendliest hostess - like staying with friends or family. Simple but comfortable, rooms opening straight onto the garden, lots of toys and space for the kids, great walks and incredible views. Can't wait to go back!

Angela is just amazing- the hostess with the mostest.
We arrived very late at night and she made sure to help us find the B&B (even asking her English-speaking neighbor to help!)
The room was immaculate - complete with a towel warmer which was such a great touch.
We felt at home as soon as we arrived - both with her and in our room.
At breakfast the next morning we so enjoyed talking with her - despite the language difference we were able to communicate :) She invited us for a home-cooked pasta dinner that night "on the house" and when our 2 year old exclaimed "pizza!!" she added that to the menu. We had such a wonderful experience.
And all of this - in a place that's supposed to be breathtakingly beautiful... our whole stay there was foggy and cloudy - yet it didn't ruin our time. We hope to return one day for both some sunny views and more time with Angela.

Room Tip: The rooms are beautifully done and feel so comfortable and homey. Angela set up a baby bed for our...

It would be almost impossible to get a more generous and attentive proprietor than Angela. You also get a panoramic view of the Alps' foothills, as well as a comfortable and clean room with modern conveniences. Since we had left our dogs at home while on vacation, we also appreciated getting to interact with Angela's dogs along with getting an opportunity to pet the property's goats and cows. All meals are prepared by Angela, who is a great cook, and include several home-made dishes such as fresh-squeezed apple juice, yogurt, and (in our case) a superb ravioli with polenta.

You absolutely need a car to get to the site - it's a 15-20 minute drive up a steep and winding country road. The local towns are Poscante and Vogno - both of which offer good restaurants, local shops, and very friendly people. Most of those we met only spoke Italian (including Angela), but we ultimately had no problem making ourselves understood.

If you're looking for an off-the-beaten-path way to experience northern Italy, with a location close enough to enjoy more popular sites yet remote enough to enjoy a quiet environment to relax, then you'd be hard pressed to find a better and more hospitable place.

Room Tip: We were in the corner room, which afforded us views in two directions of the pre-Alps and the proper...
