We stayed here for one night in late April. The room was big with shared bathroom facilities, but due to the number of guests this was not a problem. The rooms are immaculately clean and the beds are super comfy for a great night of sleep.

The guest house is a short walk away from a great view of the sea and is located very close to the pier.

We cannot comment on the breakfast as we chose to not include it for a cheaper rate.

Spotlessly clean B&B. Maureen is so warm and welcoming and feels like a friend. We've stayed many times over the years and will visit again. Highly commended. Fantastic full English breakfast also includes wide choice of assorted fresh fruits, juices, yoghurts, cereals. You're always asked how you like your egg cooked and if you'd like extra toast/tea/coffee. If more than one room available you can choose which you'd like. Fans and tea/coffee making facilties in all bedrooms and some have a fridge. No en-suites but 3 toilets for 5 rooms so no problem. It's great to have an off-street car park so close to the sea front.
If anyone grumbles about this place it just shows you can't please all the people all the time. I am very happy to recommend this B&B.

We initially intended to stay in Clacton but everywhere was full due to air show. We were given a list of B & B's at Walton from the Tourist Information Board. Most of the B & B's that we looked at had on road parking but this one had a limited parking area at rear. Three of the four rooms were occupied and we had no problems with the parking. Maureen is a very friendly person and is more than helpful with suggestions of places to eat. Also had many a laugh with memories of Essex and London. As we arrived early we had a choice of rooms which consisted of a comfortable double bed, dressing table, wardrobe, sink and freeview TV. We had the toilet opposite and bathroom next to us so did not have far to run. Bathroom had a corner shower and on a small table there were shower hats, shower gel and fresh air spray. Breakfast was very good, choice of fresh fruit (strawberries, raspberries, mixed fruit cocktail, red and green grapes and melon) natural yogurts, activia yogurts, cereals, jams, honey, marmite, sauces.
cooked breakfast was ample and freshly cooked. You normally get fried egg, 2 rashers of bacon, 1 sausage, bake beans, mushrooms and tomatoes, but if you want anything changed just tell them they are very helpful. You have to depart your room at 10.30 but you can leave your cases and car there until you are ready to leave.

The place was very clean and as we arrived early we had the choice of what room we would like.

Our room was excellent and our breakfast was very good.

Great Location and nice and quite.

We have been going to this guest house for 10 years and always find it to be spotlessly clean. Maureen is most welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for her. The beds are extremely comfortable and the breakfasts are superb with fresh fruit, raspberries, strawberries etc. and the full English cooked how you like it. Definitely a 'find'

Room Tip: They are all good

I stayed 1 night in October.
The lady would not reduce the price of the double room for a single person.
The parking was rather difficult, all parked behind each other. Could have been a nightmare if the person at the back wanted to get out!
She was more interested in the Family she had staying for the Weekend.
The breakfast was ok, but i was just given a plate of everything instead of asking what i wanted.
Check out is 10.30a.m. which i thought was rather early.
I did notice the 'For Sale' sign outside so maybe that explains the lack of help/care, so i hope the new owners do better.
