I went there with my family on a December Sunday for lunch and it was great.
Off course we reserved in advance so we got to stay in the veranda with the beautiful view on the valley below the village.
Antipasti, primo, seconds, contorno, dolce, caffè and ammazza caffè! That's how you are supposed to do it if you really want to enjoy the earthy cuisine of the Piacenza area.
All was good, service was not invasive, the check was you would expect for the food's level and the setting.
And once you are done and ready to leave the chair, the beautiful Castell'Arquato is right there to explore and help you digest...
