“Perfect Place to stay in Yorkshire”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 16, 2014

We had the most fantastic 2 night stay at Cononley Hall Bed and Breakfast. Even before our arrival, the hosts were a great help in recommending a place to eat and were happy to book a table for us.

First impressions were great as we drove up the long sweeping driveway and arrived in the beautiful, well kept gardens. Pam and Andy greeted us with homemade cakes and real coffee and showed us to our room which was spotlessly clean and very large even with the two extra beds in for our boys. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and the toiletries are White Company and replenished daily.

The breakfast was truly amazing and they have their own hens so super fresh too. Lots of choice with fresh fruit and cereals to begin followed by as much quality breakfast as you desire. After breakfast the hosts took two very excited boys to feed the fish and chickens. It is really is a family friendly B&B where nothing is too much trouble for Pam and Andy.

Room Tip: The four poster room easily accommodates a family of four

We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return to cononley, the room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and really set us up for the day. We would recommend this B&b to anybody and will be staying again.

Thanks for posting your review and making such lovely comments. It would be great if you did come back to see us again. I noticed that you only gave us 4/5 in your review though. Perhaps you could let me know how we could improve for your next visit or, indeed, why you think we fell short of your expectations on this occasion. We are always looking for ways to improve and rely on our guest's feedback for this. If you wish to email me, I would really appreciate it. Kind Regards. Pam Gregory

We had a great stay at Cononley Hall, very comfortable and friendly family run business. Breakfast was great! Clean room and the bed was really comfortable. Great local pub, 20 yards away. Would definately stay again.

We rarely return to a holiday venue, but this was our second visit to Cononley Hall and our break was just as good as the last if not better. We were again made most welcome by our lovely hosts Pam and Andy. From the large cosy bedrooms, en-suites with quality toiletries, and comfortable conservatory, to the beautifully cooked and presented breakfasts, Cononley Hall is simply superb and exudes class. The B&B is located in the centre of this traditional Yorkshire village which nestles amongst scenic countryside with walks or drives in every direction. We would recommend it to anyone and certainly hope we will be staying again soon. John & Yvonne

Absolutely fantastic B&B in a lovely village! From the moment we arrived hosts Pam and Andy (and their two wonderful children) couldn't do enough for us and made us feel so welcome. Cononley Hall itself is magnificent and has been renovated with some style by the owners. From a lovely garden and spacious conservatory to the superb rooms and fantastic breakfasts, the whole place oozes class. There's two good pubs in the village and if you wish to venture further Cononley station is only five minutes walk away with trains to Skipton or Leeds every twenty minutes or so. This place is a real gem and we could not recommend it highly enough. Come and see for your yourselves!

Our first stay at Cononley Hall but it will not be our last. We arrived very late due to traffic problems on the M62 but Pam phoned to see if there was a problem and made arrangements for our reception as she had to go out to support her daughter's school function.
From the moment we entered the building the WOW factor is very evident. The rooms are well proportioned and extremely well decorated and furnished. Beautiful pictures and lovely ornaments adorn all of the public rooms. The bathrooms are generously supplied with the usual shampoos and lotions. Beautiful white fluffy towels and dressing gowns (a nice touch) are also provided. Breakfast was superb with something for everyone's tastes. Fresh raspberries and red berries in December with yoghourt was most appreciated. The cooked breakfast was superbly cooked and could not be faulted. Supplemented with home made bread, local butter and home made jams. Excellent coffee. Beautiful dining room. Nothing is too much trouble for our hosts.
If you have a need they would assist. We will definitely return next year. The reason for our visit was to attend the Grassington Dickensian Festival but it would be nice to visit during the Spring or Summer months. The new Inn just across the road provided an excellent evening meal with high quality food at very reasonable prices in a "real" English pub

Room Tip: The rooms are on the first floor up two flights of steep stairs so not ideal for disabled folk, but...

We arrived on Sunday 6th October for a 6 night stay and were met on the drive by the family, who insisted on carrying our luggage to our room - never experienced this before at a b&b !. The spotless room was spacious and well appointed. After settling in, we were provided with refreshments in the delightful conservatory. Breakfasts were substantial - fresh fruit, cereals, freshly cooked bacon & eggs etc, the perfect set-up for the day. Hospitality throughout our stay was fantastic - Pam & Andy are the perfect hosts and we would thoroughly recommend this b&b for leisure or business (Cononley station is a few minutes walk away).
