spotted this hotel on TA , as i had a very early flight back to sydney and needed proximity to the airport, which is about the only positive thing to say about this place. it shouldn't really be open yet. on their website, and in the confirming email, they offer comp wi-fi. well, sadly that's a lie, as there is no wi-fi in the rooms, only available if you schlepp down to reception and sit in the over-lit area, so thats not good. the room i selected stated it had a "courtyard with bar b q", well, that's half right, pleasant courtyard, no bar b q. more disturbing was the live electrical wire poking out of a wall cavity into the living room -- obviously housekeeping missed that??? (or possibly the builder?, the local council?? whoever gave this place an occupation certificate??). seriously, it's either opened too soon, or the owner has no regard for human life. oh' and it's incredibly hard to find at night, no lights, no signage, so ask for instructions if staying here. all that said, the location is good if you have a flight, the room was clean , brand new, comfy bed, pillows too hard for my liking, and the 2 bedroom apt i chose woould be tricky if more than 2 people, as there is only one 2 seater sofa to sit on. won't be back.

My sincerest apologies that we were unable to offer the experience that we strive to do here at the Qube Aurum Apartment Hotel.
I do apologise that the WiFi is not up and running to the expectations you were promised. Our full connection has been delayed and is out of our control with the provider. We do currently offer each guest a WiFi dongles so that we were still able to offer our guests free use of WiFi internet within their rooms - my apologies that this was not offered.
We are expecting our BBQ's to arrive this week and again, our apologies that there was not one in your Courtyard room for you to utilise. While not the experience you were expecting, I do hope the fully equipped kitchen enabled you to dine. To promise and not deliver is not what we are about.
In regards the wire you mentioned, this is in fact a remote control wire for the air con units and not a live wire. By no means would we endanger our guests in any way by placing them in a harmful environment. That would be unacceptable from any point of view, legal and ethical. I am sorry for the alarm that it has caused you. I will ensure that our staff are more conscious of communicating this to our guests.
I can only apologise for the guests arguing in the carpark and our night security staff will be instructed to monitor this more closely to ensure it doesn't occur again.
Once again, I can only apologise that you stay was not what you expected, but I do hope that one day we can welcome you back for the experience that I know we can deliver.
