Just got back from Atlantic House for August bank holiday. Feel compelled to pass this on while still fresh in my memory -- best bed and breakfast I've had in the UK.
With such a great location (down a little lane, overlooking a paddock and the sea, away from the tourists) they could have rested on their laurels - but they clearly haven't.
Very clean and looked after. Bright and modern furnished rooms with new big soft beds. Bathrooms are surprisingly stylish. Family atmosphere.
Close to coves, pretty good beaches and long cliff top walking paths. No real need for a map or heavy boots. We found it nice to hear the ocean on the way back from pub.
Great breakfast - made with local produce.
The food, location and the two springer spaniels (Dave and Tess), will all seem a long way away, tomorrow, behind my desk.

We've just returned from a week's stay in the Lizard and enjoyed every minute of it. This was our second stay at Atlantic House and the hosts were fantastic, which is why we chose to stay with them again. The breakfasts were a wonderful start to the day, and the views from our bedroom windows were magnificent, providing unspoilt sea views. The room was beautifully furnished and little touches such as handmade chocolates and fresh flowers all added to the charm of Atlantic House.

This has been our 3rd year staying at Atlantic House and we shall be definately be returning for a 4th. Every effort is made to make your visit as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. From our room we had outstanding un-interrupted views of the sea. There really is no aspect of our stay that could have been any better .
