I stayed with my friend for 4 nights. It is a lovely place, run by a lovely couple who were from Tokyo. All of their cottages faced the sea and it was an enjoyable experience to have our breakfast on the deck, overlooking the sea. The place is so well kept and clean. It gives me a very homely feeling. There are fresh flowers daily. The breakfast is delicious. On days when we need to start our trek early, the owners will prepare onigiri (rice balls) as breakfast for us to eat on our hikes. They even provide dryer for drying our hiking boots. You have lots of privacy by having your own cottage space. I will definitely stay there again when I visit Yakushima. I sure miss Fairy no Mori and the sumptuous breakfast...
