Having mistakenly booked a return ferry to Dublin on the *WRONG* day, we found ourselves needing accommodation in North Wales for one night on the 30th December. Panicking that so close to NYE we would be unable to secure accommodation for one night, we found the Pant Teg B&B through the Beautiful North Wales tourist site and fortunately there was availability.
Easy to find, the building was very welcoming and still decorated for Christmas. Catrin and Bryan were beyond friendly (including a hug from the friendliest Golden Retriever EVER!), the room was spacious, with tea and coffee, hairdryer and one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The bathroom was huge with a double jacuzzi bath, and a shower that was like a transporter from Star Trek! Plenty of towels and robes supplied and a good selection of toiletries - more than you'd find in your average Travelodge or Premiere Inn.
There is also free WiFi in the house, and an excellent selection of satellite television channels.
Breakfast was a choice of cereals, yoghurts, toast or full cooked breakfast. It was hot, delicious and a good spread. The husband finished the lot! The tea, coffee and orange juice flowed, and the hosts were attentive and friendly.
As we had time to kill before the ferry, Bryan told us of local shopping in the area and gave us easy-to-follow driving instructions.
My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer, and explore the area more (beautiful scenery) we would highly recommend this B&B, reduced room rate for more than one-night's stay.
Two rooms are en-suite, but the room we had had the separate (private) bathroom with the amazing bat...
