Traveled to CR for a surf trip last December and stayed at the Marbella Surf Inn during my trip. Great hotel, great staff and really good food. This is a part of Costa Rica that is somewhat secluded and not overrun by tourists. The six-room hotel is new and well built, the rooms are nice and spacious. The owner and his family are wonderful people and spend a lot of time on the hotel grounds. Highly recommend!

This place is excellent! Reasonable rates, lots of room in each room. Great Air conditioners and clean rooms. Pool and grounds are very clean. The food is great, fresh, reasonable with great service. I highly recommend this location in Marbella. Our family has stayed here on two trips to Costa Rica.

Marbella has everything Costa Rica was 20 years ago, and the surf break is consistent and world class, add Marbella Surf Inn to the mix with , great clean rooms with a crystal clear swim up bar pool to lounge after you morning Surf session and a friendly staff always willing to serve you some fresh cevice or other great item from the menu........that guy you see ripping in the line up is Joe the owner, great family and down to earth character.
1 of my favorite spots in Costs Rica

We were one of the first visitors that stayed at the Marbella Surf Inn a couple of years ago. The Surf Inn is a family friendly spot and the hospitality was great. The local surfers made us feel at home. The hotel was finished, the restaurant/bar & pool along with the beautiful landscaping were not done yet. Our family only takes a couple of surf trips a year and we have to say that the Costa Rica trip was by far the best. The surf was great! Seeing the finished product of the Marbella Surf Inn is so inviting and we can't wait to make another family surf trip.
