We attended a birthday luncheon at this restaurant and although the view was lovely, the food was pretty ordinary and the noise levels intolerable. We were seated in the level closest to the water, which was nice in that respect, the open window especially appreciated, however with no acoustics to muffle the noise, the plates and cutlery clanked on the hard tables and the sound bounced off the hard floors. It made even hearing one another difficult at times. It is so important to remember that people go out to BE with one another and relate, not just watch the other chew because it is too noisy to talk. Since I'm on a roll here, it might be added that there were several servers standing around doing nothing while patrons carried drinks from the bar and went looking for an extra fork, salt, etc. At one point, a server came and took one plate from the table leaving many others. You have to wonder....this place has super potential, it's just not being met.
