Oh Dear - we were exploring some of the Adelaide Hills wineries today and this one was spoilt by the staff, who were pre-occupied with talking to each other as opposed to dealing with my group of eight visitors, some of which were new to SA wines. Despite boasting a plethora of tertiary and international wine qualifications (I asked), they simply lacked the interest and enthusiasm and were uninspiring and unwelcoming (we arrived at 1630) Perhaps these highy educated ladies felt just too important to be dealing directly with the public? Was the tasting room a punishment posting or have they been doing the job too long? What a shame. Poor ambasadors for a reasonable label. I decided not to buy.
