“The real Spain”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2012

We have now stayed twice in this lovely family owned and run hotel, right next to the beach in the typical unpretentious Spanish fishing town of Sabinillas. We had a comfortable, immaculately clean and modern room with a lovely spacious bathroom. There is free parking in the underground garage, useful in the summer season. Although the hotel has no dining facilities there is a cafe linked to the hotel round the corner on the beach promenade where you can get anything you want from traditional Spanish or English breakfast and homemade meals or snacks all day. There are also lots of restaurants to choose from in the town. If you want to feel you are in Spain and not in an anonymous hotel full of other foreigners this may be the place for you. We are looking forwards to our next visit already.

For the money a great value hotel.

The room was clean and good size, breakfast was taken round the corner n a café.

The staff where very helpful

The hotel has an underground car park, the access ramp is very steep and narrow (need to fold in the wing mirrors).

Good selection of restaurants on the sea front

When reserving my room for just one night I felt that the receptionist just sounded like a nice, kind, efficient guy. In fact he's one half of the two brother team that manage this family owned hotel and very well managed it is. The hotel is spotless, the decor modern, the bath fittings and shower excellent, the wifi works and both brothers are genuinely kind and helpful. The hotel does not have a restaurant but there are many restaurants within a few minutes' walk. The hotel is situated in a pedestrian cul de sac but only a few meters from s small street. It was surprisingly quiet at night, but then I was there out of season. The beach is about twenty meters from the hotel and the town centre about a hundred meters. Price/quality relationship is excellent.

The hotel is nice and the staff very kind and helpful. There is free parking (rare in this part of spain) and free internet. I loved the decoration of the hotel: very modern and chic. Also the bathroom was classy and superb. Finally the price of this hotel is surprising and cheap!

Also only 10 seconds walk fom the beach!

Room Tip: all rooms are new and modern

5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2012

I and my husband stayed there 4 nights at the end of January 2012. I must say I couldn`t expect something so nice from the 2 star hotel! It`s situated almost at the beach, very clean, modern, and, I would say even fashionable hotel. It has its own parking (free), but we`ve used it only once due to the parking was in the basement and there were always a lot free places for parking just along the street. We had free Wi-Fi. The room was big and nice, cleaned every day and also towels were changed every day. The only pity that the room didn’t have a hairdryer (so if you use it often - bear it in mind) and it was impossible to get something like tea or coffeemaker in the room. Also the hotel didn`t have the restaurant and normally they collaborate with a cafe, but it was a dead season, so they sent us to the cafe at the corner, which had very good real cappuccino but unreasonable expensive omelette (6.5 euro just for 2 fried eggs :-(). There were supermarkets around - so we`ve managed our breakfasts. Staff was friendly and helpful. This hotel I would highly recommend, and the price and quality math here excellent!

Room Tip: There was an option, so we could choose between two separate beds and one double bed for the same pr...
