Thank you very much for your hospitality. We felt at home at your
apartment. It was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We were pleased
to see that the apartment was equipped with everything that we needed
from hair dryer to umbrella. I enjoyed jogging around the historic town
Wolfram Eschenbach eary in the morning. It is a perfect place not only
for a weekend getaway but also for a long stay.

My husband and I spent the weekend here in this charming hideaway recommended by friends. The host is very friendly and supportive with great command of English, so no need to feel lost in the Bavarian countryside, although I must add that the resort area is just a half-hour drive from Nuernberg.

If you are looking for a tranquil stay, away from the hustle and bustle, this could be a good way to massage your soul ! Absolutely adorable place for family with children and there are many ways to entertain them with several lakes nearby. You can also take a quick swim in the indoor swimming pool (not that big, but sufficient with spa area), which might be rare around this area. The kitchen is equipped with everything you can think of in a German household including the egg boiler, making your cozy home away from home. Eating out is also not a problem, as several eating places are in walking distance.

Being the birthplace of the 12th century knight & poet, Wolframs von Eschenbach, the town of Wolframs-Eschenbach is well preserved and rich in medieval culture. For someone interested in German history of Minnesaenger & the crusaders, there are several interesting architectures tucked away. Time to reminisce under a clear night's sparkling milky way !

Thank You to the Staff that run Parcival Blu Resort. Your service and facilities were great and made for an enjoyable time while staying in the Ansbach area.

The country setting, and quite location I found relaxing. Yet was within a few minutes drive to theater, music and eating establishments. Also Two nearby lakes for water sports walking, biking, windsurfing and kayaking.

The Apartments were clean and well maintained, as well as the grounds. The pool and sauna were a treat after a long day. Clean and well taken care of.

I will definiately be back to visit, and will recommend Parcival Blu to my friends and co-workers.

We recently moved to Germany and stayed at the Parcival Blu Resort for several months in 2010/2011 while we were waiting to move into our permanent residence. The management at Parcival Blu was extremely friendly and accommodating. We have a large family (four children) and they moved the furniture, brought in extra beds, and even bought a new dishwasher to make our extended stay comfortable. I found the Parcival Blu to be very clean, well maintained and reasonably priced. We had guests visit during the Christmas Holidays who stayed in one of the villas and they were also enjoyed their stay, visiting the nearby Nuremburg and Rothenberg Christmas Markets. If you are looking for a well-priced, peaceful, clean, and friendly environment and not too far from the city of Nuremburg, then I would definitely recommend the Parcival Blu Resort.

We (parents & children 5 and 8 years) made a reservation on this "resort" based on the image we got from the info on internet. What a mistake.

The surroundings is nice if you like quiet an peaceful countryside living in the middle of nowhere. The nearby village is nice.

But for us city people the smell of a nearby piggery was much too much! It was smelling outside and also inside of our apartment. And beliewe us, you don't get used to it!

The swimming pool had so much chlorine in the water that it bleached our swimwear.
Had to buy new.

There was also different smallish problems with the room/services. For example the promised internet connection was operating only in one corner of the apartment and even there only occasionally.

Restaurantat wasn't open.

As advertised high class resort the difference between photos on internet and the reality was huge. The photographer has done excellent job.

Don't go!

We stayed two weeks in Parcival Blu - self catering. It was well kept, near a delightful little walled town and with an indoor pool that we had to ourselves nearly every time we used it. This place is not a hotel as such - the restaurant was closed when we were there and while a bar was available, it was attached to the owners' residence and there was rarely anyone in there. This didn't bother us as we were after peace and privacy to come and go - which is exactly what we got.

The centre of Nuremburg, an hour's drive away, is a delightful town. Munich, 2 hrs drive, is similarly impressive. Nearer was the lake (Brombachsee) about 20 mins drive away - complete with sandy beaches and just as popular in hot weather.

Try the Wurstbrotchen (sausage rolls) in the Metzgerai (butchers) just inside the western gate of Wolframs-Essenbach - they were a staple breakfast for us. A buffet breakfast was available at the resort but we hadn't paid the tariff for which these were included and were quite happy to buy sausage rolls from the butchers and croissants from the bakers opposite.

To start up with, its is the middle of nowhere! Very very rude unfriendly service. So called “Old Town” is nothing but few old buildings. So called lake is a pond with few ducks. This place is way over priced and the pictures on their website is miss leading to its fullest. A hotel should always under promise and over deliver. I would not suggest this hotel even to an enemy of mine. We booked and paid over 1000 Euros in advance and as a result of the all the above we decided to re-book a hotel closer to Nuremburg. Explaining our dissatisfactory, they still wanted the balance amount for the full period booked. We paid for three nights that we did not stay and booked another place as we could not take another days of doing nothing in the middle of nowhere
