I was staying near by and on a Sunday night The Noust was the only place open without going into Stromness or Kirkwall. The food is typical barfood, heavy on the frying.
I liked their Fried Cheeses, each little fried packet had a distinctive flavor, and you could tell which it was cheese and that it was not "cheese product".
The beef in Yorkshire looked spectacular, and the yorkshire pudding shell was perfect, I am not a fan of stewed beef, but it wasn't bad.
The had a large selection of whiskys and other drinks. The servers were really nice. On the whole it is anice unpretentious little bar/restaurant and serves its community well
